As EDC will not be featuring breakbeats this year, I thought I'd get back to my roots and put out a new Florida style Breakbeat tune to make up for it.  I went a little aggressive with this one.  Maybe reflecting my disappointment that this type of music won't be featured.  (With the exception of the infamous "Rob-E" on Saturdays mainstage at 1).  Luckily good old Rob-E will be headlining a great Breakbeat show here in downtown Orlando Saturday night.  Let the Breaks Live On.

Electro Breaks / Techno / Tech and Progressive House.
I love creating this stuff.  And I love this scene.  I fell in love with it back in 1999, hence the name.  I am relatively new to producing, doing it for about 4-1/2 years, but I have been a musician for many years.  Playing in a number of bands ranging from Depeche mode sounding original bands to hard rock cover bands.  While I do have a rock and roll background, I have also been immersed in the electronic music scene for 20+ years.  And I have a deep for affection for it and for many of the genres that I grew up listening to.  Especially electro style breaks, melodic techno, tech house and progressive house.  My influences are varied and span generations.  Artists like Hybrid, Sasha, Tenaglia, Way out West, DJ Icey, Infiniti, Dynamix II, Plump DJs, Anthony Rother, Rabbit in the Moon, Crystal Method, Dom Dolla, John Summit, Mau P, Boris Brejcha, Solee....way too many others to mention.  

Music is not my day job.  I am very fortunate to have a wonderful career as an Interior Designer.  I have the luxury of having an outlet for my creativity that also pays bills.  But that unfortunately means I only have a few hours each week to dedicate to my true love music.  But I am trying very hard to learn and improve.  I am utilizing what time I have to study the craft and create more music faster.  For now, I am producing what I can.  And hopefully it moves people in a positive way.  Whether it be on the dance floor or just losing yourself in your headphones.
