What is it searching for, in the night?
What secrets does it hide, out of sight?
Is it friend or foe, this crawling thing?
Its intentions are unclear, a mystery to bring

It moves through the dark, with purpose and grace
A force to be reckoned with, in this hidden place
But as the dawn breaks, and the light grows near
The entity disappears, a phantom of fear remains
