I've been musically dormant for most of this year, trying to find myself and achieve the next evolution of my growth. A lot of that time was spent struggling with my thoughts of self doubt and indecisiveness. This release symbolizes an internal battle of creativity I've struggled with for many years... a reminder to stop worrying about what others are doing and focus on having fun doing what I love. Since I was younger I always found solace in my ability to be alone despite having so many people around. In general I tend to hurt the ones I love... maybe because of my own hurt. In the end, maybe I don’t deserve the company.

A commissioned work by Capitol Underground Gaming to commemorate the launch of the PS4 game, Ghost of Tsushima. Shizukesa translates to Serenity, or tranquility. Representing the stillness of rural Japanese prefectures, while the lotus flower signifies our ability to come from a place of suffering into the light.
