Rotterdam based dj and producer Aad Mouthaan steps up to the plate for the 2nd release on Art Nouveau Records called Bakso. So what is Bakso you might wonder? Well... to quote wikipedia: 'Bakso is an Indonesian meal. The term bakso could refer to a single chunky meatball or the whole bowl of chunky meatballs soup'. And chunky is just the word to describe this beatfest very reminiscent of, dare we say it, Inland Knights and Da Sunlounge.

The first remix is by the coming man in the Rotterdam Tech House scene Denn Punk. With a release under his belt on Taylor Made Recordings and a recent gig in Toffler there's no denying anymore that he is a force to be reckoned with. His remix is a more stripped down and jacking take on the track making it a must for the funkier floors.

The second remix comes courtesy of Dan Sonic whose recent album 'Dreamers' rose to great height in the downtempo and deephouse charts on Beatport when it was released early this year. His remix takes the groove from the original mix and keeps it going for almost 9(!) minutes while adding his trademark atmospheric vibes showcasing his love of enduring late night affairs.

A bit of a change of direction for Art Nouveau Records here as we have Jason.L on board.
This is his first ever release and he does it in style. The main track of the EP The D
is all about tight bumpin' drumbeats and hard hitting basslines. Hard to pinpoint to a
certain genre but G House comes closest we think :) The second track I See You is a
minimal dancefloor shuffler that expertly combines a bold bassline and old school drums
with a hypnotic organ motif. Last but certainly not least is You Just Donít Know which
is a vocal affair with a killer groove wedged somewhere between house and garage.

On his second release this year, Portugal based Bernardo Mota proves himself to be an expert in deep infectious house jams. These 3 tracks are as potent as anything we've released since starting our label more than one year ago! Kicking off with a thumping jacking disco house stormer called "Can't Get Enough" before sinking into a deep atmospheric affair with hints of lo fi on "Excuse Me". Rounding off the release is "Auz" which is a like a classic latin jam, all looped up disco samples and sassy house beats.
