Starting of with a Stevie Wonder track from his overambitious and vague album the secret life of plants slowly but surely moving on to future dance music from the greatests (the new FLOATING POINTS, Zelda inspired Leon Vynehall track, Roedelius x Hieroglyphic Being mix etc etc etc) and the rest, well it's amazing. just listen and be wooed.

AVONTUUR PODCAST #2 - ZEP'S SALTY & SHAKY MIX

The present podcast by Julien Mier embraces the (bygone) concept of a mixtape. But instead of being a mere example of emotion soaked communication, the podcast is more like a loving meditation on what sounds and song can cause with melancholy moods.
We reach some peaks – jazz organ fueled funk and timbreous instrumentations – in the middle before reverting nicely back into the more laid-back mood that we started out with. Mier's mix is consistently focussed on the emotive aspects of that niche of dance music that seems comfortable with him. Enjoy the adventure.

AVONTUUR PODCAST #3 - JULIEN MIER

WOOP There it is! Number #4 in an ongoing series.

This one’s a real transmission from the drawing board, coming to you as we’re busily planning and plotting our next steps. Avontuur is taking us in many different directions and unknown places, and every step requires careful consideration. This mix, brought to you by our own breed, is a little taste on where we are at the moment, musically. You could say it catches us in the eye of the storm: All around us, things are progressing at a great pace, but for the 50 minutes of this podcast, things are tranquil, peaceful even. A place of contemplation and reflection in a busy period. It’s a blend of stuff we like, with plenty of unexpected turns and glorious detail to feast your ears on along the way. So get stuck in! 

As for the future of this podcast and Avontuur in general: We’re very excited to be bringing you some new sounds from talented folks outside the Avontuur vaults. New collaborators and fresh faces, that’s what Avontuur is all about. All I can tell you is watch this space and we’ll keep you updated with all tidings from the Avontuur HQ.
