The Cloudshapers kick off 2017 with an absolute beauty! Gotta Get is a slick slice of house music. The track begins on a gorgeous mellow vibe, but then morphs into a more classic sounding house track.  The Cloudshapers once again deliver a catchy vocal hook, along with their usual punchy piano and a very familiar brass section sample!

The Cloudshapers make killer hook-filled house tracks, able to traverse from the underground US house scene, across to the European commercial dance world. Former tracks 'Who Is Jack?', 'LAX' and 'Obsession' built a strong following state-side and lead Toolroom's Mark Knight to describe their single 'Salute The Floor' with collaborators Soultrak as 'the hottest record in the world'. At the end of 2016, The Cloudshapers released the massive 'I'll House U' with trail-blazing UK based MC LST.  The track gathered major support for both artists and we expect even bigger things to rain down from The Cloudshapers in 2017.

We welcome Roman Nunez to BASE with his deep and infectious debut 'In the Sky'. The groove is just right, the hits and layers sit perfectly, and of course the hook is bang on!  Roman's sound simply engages any floor. 'In The Sky' demonstrates his skill for melting subtle tones and timbre, letting the track build into a journey of pure delight.

Roman comes from humble beginnings playing vinyl at underground parties in San Francisco. Branching out to Los Angeles and playing tunes in Venice Beach led to international bookings in Europe and Asia. BASE Music welcomes Paul Sawyer (Krafted) with the exceptional 'I'll Be Here'. A smooth textural progressive house release with a male vocal top line that cements this track together beautifully.

As well as a Dub version to compliment the original vocal mix, remixes have been added to this release from Betoko and fellow Krafted label partner Simon Sinfield.

Betoko has literally hit the nail on the head with his interpretation of the original track, with what can only be described as a very Prydz style remix, with rolling synths and a driving, pulsating bass line.

Simon has brought a new sound to his huge discography, keeping much of the atmosphere of the original, but with an energetic and wild re-interpretion.
