Renowned DJ and Producer BIJOU returns to the release radar with his first official release of the year, joining forces with rising Australian-based talent Zaerd for their latest sonic masterpiece ‘Saint Tropez’. For me, Guru is more than just a song. It's a record that is more meaningful than anything I've ever written. The culture encompassed within the melody in the breaks, and certain aspects of the drop, resonate with me on a spiritual level. While writing Guru, I tried to incorporate major influences of current culture that exist in my life, while holding true to the G House sound that I love. I hope that others can find the connection I found to the vibration of the track, as I did. - BIJOU

Lockdown for me is a track that hits close to home. G house is a genre in todays day and age that really takes hip hop and brings it into the electronic music world. The streets are an aspect of hip hop that many cannot correlate or really associate with house music. My goal with this song was to bring that real street aspect to life. Covered N Money came together quicker than most of the tracks I have written this year. The vocal sample was so strong & I immediately vibed off that to bring together a very hip hop influenced track that showcases an innovated G-House sound.

The track Young & Reckless really takes me back to when I was younger and my life was truly young and reckless.  The vocal with Way came from a long-standing relationship I’ve had with his manager that started out with me buying shoes from him at Finish Line. Fast forward to today and we have worked on numerous tracks together with this one being hands down our best. We are both proud to have Dim Mak be such a big part of this record and are stoked for everyone to finally hear it. There's a lot more where this came from. Enjoy!

Phoenix called Bar Smith. Our great friend Dr. Fresch was headlining that night and we had an instant
connection. We were both inspired by Nipsey Hussle&#39;s achievements in this one short life that he had.
Secondly, we felt strongly about his passing and believe he did everything in his life to do as much as
he possibly could. Not only for himself, but for others, and we both try to live the same way the best
that we can.”

One Life

I met Dylan in 2013 after we booked him for his first performance in Phoenix. I was working as a promoter and was his driver for the night and for some crazy reason we hit it off and became friends. After countless sessions and numerous songs written together, we finally found a track that worked perfectly. We had been toying around with a few tracks for awhile now and something about WHOA just felt right. Big love and shoutout to him for the support over the years!
