A strong vessel of gutsy female energy, PsyShe is the project of London-based producer, Bahar Canca, and vocalist, Ozlem Tekin. They make a colourful splash with the delivery of this seminal release, which includes a special remix of the track, Moment from Mexican producer, Tron.
Progressive melodic soundscapes are punctuated by a unique take on vocals for a finely crafted production. That unmistakable sound of infectious psytrance resonates throughout, while vocals emanate a wild energy in Liar, referencing the spirit of dark underground rock that inspired singer, Tekin.

￼￼￼￼￼This rare production gives a fresh lease of life to the sound of psychedelic trance. Zen-like melodies are followed through with a discreet hint at the spirit of house in Moment, which simultaneously gives a nod to old school trance. Trons remix follows, remaining authentic yet indicative of the producers trademark style.

The brightness of Secret is seen with its combination of styles that make daring reference to the vibes of house, and eloquently infused with psychedelic rhythms and bass for a real sense of journey. With this release Alchemy records brings these 3 fresh dance-floor shakers, from a Made In London Collaboration between Bahar Canca and FluorEnzo with his 17 years old twin sons aka DuOhm. First track have voice samples from the documentary Spun Out (2009), and the voices are from the legends DIck Trevor aka Dickster, Jules Harner aka Aphid Moon and King Rock, on 142 bpm with a worked out fat bassline and energetic melodies. Second track is the first release of boys DuOhm on their own, a 145 bpm hyper energetic track, absolute bomb to blast any dance-floor, and finally a collaboration between all 4 of them on a 138 bpm funky bass track with guitars sounds and nice surprises along the way, this is a quite unique piece.

Bahar Canca re create old Turkish song Derule from Black sea region into rather interesting Psy-trance track. Dark Indigo delivered tripy vocals which gave a twisted edge. Original writer of the lyrics is not known. It has been passed on generation to generation.

DJ Bahar Canca is a colourful personality, a crowd pleaser, and life and soul of the party whether she is behind the decks or the dance floor. A playing style described as electro-infused tech house and techno-funk, and a sensual attitude, are both the measure of the music and the girl.

Originally from Turkey, Bahar Canca is now one of London’s most exiting female DJs leaving a lasting impression on the world of dance music. Arriving in London to study film in the mid-nineties, she was soon fascinated by the kaleidoscopic dance scene, the number of genres of electronic music, and the extraordinary manner in which the music removes boundaries between a diversity of people. Inspired in this environment, and by the power that positive energy has in bringing people together, so DJ Bahar Canca was born out of the simple need to share the music she loved with others.
