This is a one man band, instrumental cover and arrangement for Shanghai Teahouse ~Chinese Tea~, which is a soundtrack from a game called Touhou featuring the piano, recorder, guitar. This soundtrack is one of Meiling's theme, but it actually came from the stage theme of Embodiment of Scarlet Devil. Hello all! This is Bit2 with a short cover of Foxtail-Grass Studio's awesome arrangement, "Eastern Youkai Beauty" titled "導きの調べ Melody of Guidance". This is the Last Word theme from Imperishable Night, and also the main theme of Touhou 東方 LostWord (the mobile game). Not sure why the naming is so odd, you have Last Word, Lost Word, and also more commonly misread as Lost World. I'm quite confused initially. 【Touhou GFW】 Three Fairies SAY YA! ✿「三妖精SAY YA!」Bit2 Cover

Is this a traditional Chinese flute? This beautiful bamboo flute is actually a Bansuri flute and it's my new instrument! I must make yet another cover of a beautiful music that got me interested in traditional-style Touhou music: Suika's theme - Broken Moon 砕月 from Touhou - Immaterial and Missing Power 東方萃夢想 . In my opinion it's one of the most beautiful Touhou music. This makes the third Broken Moon cover so far. Let's focus on just the bamboo flute this time, even though I also played the other instruments like the piano in the background. Enjoy!! Let me know if it sounds sad, relaxing, epic, or none at all!! :)

Note: I only owned this flute for two weeks! Definitely still a beginner but I am so happy how it turned out for my favorite eastern-flavored theme from Touhou. I think I've paid enough respect for Broken Moon, haha.

This is Touhou Yuuma’s Theme arrange and cover with guitar, flute, recorder, kalimba, and melodica. Yuuma’s theme name is called Memento of All Organisms ~ Memory of Fossil Energy from Touhou 17.5: Touhou Gouyoku Ibun ~ Submerged Hell of Sunken Sorrow (東方剛欲異聞 ～ 水没した沈愁地獄). This is an original Bit2 Touhou arrange! Yuuma’s theme (Yuuma’s 2nd theme, 有機体全てのメメント　～ Memory of Fossil Energy.) is based on the character Yuuma Toutetsu (饕餮 尤魔) and the music is composed by ZUN. The genre of this arrangement is folk arrange, aiming for a gentle mood.

This is a BAD APPLE!! arrangement, but it's in major key, featuring the steel tongue drum, guitar, and a bit of bamboo flute! Why in the major key? It's Winter now, and the steel tongue drum (also known as tank drum) has limited keys so I aim to make a relaxing, winter-ish version in the major key which uses every note.

This is a piano, flute, guitar, recorder, and tongue drum cover arrangement of Sakuya's theme from Touhou Phantasmagoria of Flower View (PoFV) called "Flowering Night". It is my original folk arrangement in the Eastern traditional flavor, and the custom name is "Easterly Winds in the Flowering Night". Original Japanese title is フラワリングナイト. This is perhaps the most chill and peaceful arrange of Sakuya's theme that I know of.

With the full moon hanging high up in the sky, lone rabbit Tewi Inaba continued to wander within the Bamboo Forest illuminated by the faint glow of lanterns lining the path. After checking the surroundings and ensuring that no one else is in the vicinity, she began moving to the tune of a traditional melody called "Kagome Kagome". Her slightly clumsy movements with the occasional hesitations reflect the innocence deep within her heart. Despite repeated imperfect attempts, all she ever wanted to do at that very moment is a lighthearted dance over her undisclosed burdens, and be temporarily relieved from anything that is putting her mind in a cage.

Introducing the Fumo Ensemble, who mischievously held a concert featuring many music instruments at Bit2's absence! - Reimu is the main character today and will take the lead role playing the recorder. Marisa will play the bass guitar and provide the supporting flute lines with Reimu. Yuyuko will be in charge of the guitar strumming, and Cirno the baka will just continue to do her baka things. ⑨

Hello hello everyone! In this music I want to share with you my arrangement of "Faith is for the Transient People" in Bit2's folk style! The music video is put together with the help of my trusty Ocarina and Recorder accompanied by the guitar and tank drum to give it the European, mystical vibes. Sanae's theme is one of the most epic songs from Touhou Mountain of Faith and is associated with Sanae's divine role in Japanese folklore, but instead of it being traditional Japanese folk style I'll turn it into a rendition into the Western style. Hello hello everyone! This is a folk-styled arrangement of another beautiful tune from Touhou Imperishable Night, where I played the recorder flute to the accompaniment of guitar and the steel tongue drum. I also played a segment of ocarina on the more calm and relaxing parts. Gensokyo Millenium ~ History of the Moon is another memorable tune and personally meaningful to me that got me into Touhou. I remember when I first got the bamboo flute, I tried to cover Eirin's theme but I ran out of breath. The recorder flute is still easier! I hope you like this cover and enjoyed the visuals especially when Eirin was overlooking the scenery. :)

~ Creation notes ~
Eirin's theme is among the first Touhou music that I've ever encountered way before I actually started getting into Touhou. It has motivated me to play the piano plenty of times (many piano arrangements are present) as well as serving as my background music for studying. I have played some piano covers before in older videos, but those weren't my original arrangements after all. Hence, in this video, I finally created my own Bit2 arrangement of Gensokyo Millenium with my favorite instruments such as the guitar, recorder, flute, and steel tongue drum in my typical peaceful folk style, with the traditional eastern element. I also realized that I haven't drawn Eirin's picture even though I've made two covers of her before, so this is the first official debut of her drawing drawn in my style. :)

【Touhou IN】Gensokyo Millenium ~ History of the Moon ✿ Eirin's Theme「千年幻想郷」Bit2 Original Arrange

This is my latest entry from Touhou EoSD. So far I think I covered most major characters from EoSD, such as Rumia, Meiling, Flandre, Remilia, Cirno, Daiyousei, and Sakuya (although hers came from Phantasmagora of Flower View). Now we have Patchy in the mix to almost complete the collection! (Sorry Koakuma). I actually liked Voile, the Magic Library more than Patchy's theme due to it being more melodic in nature, but Patchy's theme "Locked Girl" has its elegance as well and it gives a different feeling. I had a hard time figuring out the "transition"/"bridge" of the music (the middle segment with the ocarina and piano) because of the non-melodicness of Locked Girl, but eventually the idea of incorporating a segment from Voile with the piano came to mind. Music block, cleared!! Also, her theme actually suits European music style more, so it was really interesting to transform it into something of an Eastern flavor, although the flavor isn't that strong. As for the last part with only the guitar... I just didn't know how to end it. I really preferred the flute and wanted that to last longer, but I was concerned it would overstay its welcome. So... yeah! There you go. The guitar is duplicated with one of the tracks pitched-down by a complete octave, so it actually sounds like a bassy harpsichord, which fits the European aesthetics of the Magic Library (or Patchy's secret room, ya...)

This is a folk traditional style arrangement of Walking the Streets of Former Hell 「旧地獄街道を行く」, from Touhou Subterranean Animism. This is the stage 3 theme and also Yuugi Hoshiguma's stage theme. I arranged and covered this with guitar, piano, and multiple recorders, where each sounds like different type of flute! But mostly the flute and the recorder is the star :) I wanted to make this arrangement sound a little ominous at first, somewhat dark and mysterious, and eventually it evolves into a grand reveal of the bustling streets of the former hell in Gensokyo. Yuugi invites Reimu and you to join her with a cup of healthy beverage. :)

This is a folk/acoustic style arrangement of A Soul as Red as a Ground Cherry 「ほおずきみたいに紅い魂」, from Touhou Embodiment of Scarlet Devil (東方紅魔郷). This is the stage 1 theme, and also actually Rumia's stage theme. I arranged and covered this with the bamboo flute, guitar, piano, and the steel tongue drum. I hope you find this cover relaxing and soothing! I tried to make it very atmospheric so you can just sit back, have a cup of nice warm green tea, and be a warm potato!

This is a flute arrangement for "Fall of Fall ~ Autumnal Waterfall" from Touhou Mountain of Faith's Stage 4 theme. It is covered by the bamboo flute, guitar, piano and the steel tongue drum, in the most melancholic way possible with my favorite chord progression. In this video, we will join Reimu to hike up the mountains, into a secluded and serene waterfall ending with a melancholic reunion with Momiji. The Japanese title for this cover is called フォールオブフォール　～ 秋めく滝.
