After our last release titled “jazz Baileys” we are back with House Experience Vol.2., this time in Ep format, presented by Bs As deep.
The previous volume was clearly dedicated to being a various artists, also with the participation of Bs As deep.

We have been working since vinyl number 4 with musicians, who have a participation in almost all the tracks released.

When we talk about musicians, we are including keyboardists, saxophonists, percussionists, guitarists or bassists.

Our goal or common thread has always been to achieve a warm and forceful sound, so that it can be heard in any environment, and at the same time be used at any time of the night, on a dance floor.
With those involved in both past and current releases, we share a common idea, which guides us in the interpretation of each song.
We also base ourselves on house influences from the late 90s (96,97,98,99)

Personally, we are moved by those times in which the sounds become more sophisticated, more elaborated in detail, and that is when we believe that the house that we listen to today with soul and jazz sounds, take on more relevance.

They also promote Afro and Latin percussion, leaning towards that New York and Puerto Rican fusion.

For all this, we like to include classic instruments, such as roland rhodes, the much-loved Juno, or korg packages with their inevitable M1.

Many shots are made live through a session expressed by the musician, who improvises for a while, from there we extract some part, which can be used several times in several tracks.

It is always necessary to do an editing job to adapt and correct any dissonance or variation in time that implies desynchronization in the beat. All this working in the sequencer of the daw to use.
On this album you will be able to hear soulful house sounds strongly impacted by keyboards, flutes and session basses, as well as some perfectly adapted percussion samples.

Mostly records, the onward recordings sub-label, presents Unum Festival by Franco Cinelli, which includes two remixes made by Bs As deep. One of these versions is with his pseudonym "System T", chosen to do some works inclined to tech house and more experimental sounds sometimes.

Unum festival is an event characterized by five simple elements of life; music, sand, pines, the sea and the mountains.

The golden beach of Rana e Hedhun is where the festival will host 50 international and local acts over the course of 5 days and 4 nights.
Franco Cinelli is summoned every year to bring his music from Latin America to Albania.

Franco had a good idea in his head to print on a vinyl one of the tracks that had been Anthem in one of those events, which is also used as the official track and curtain of one of the promotional videos of Unum festival.

In "Mostly" both Bs As deep (owner) and Maxi iborquiza (owner) they had thought of ​​including Franco in their next release. They talked about it, and presented some ideas.
This is how this project was born, proposed by Franco himself to Mostly Records.

"We thought it was a very good idea, we keep in mind the exposure of the event and that Franco is also our friend, and we know what he can offer. Franco is an icon in our country, not only as an artist, but also as an excellent person. In addition, we had already worked together on Onward Rec.

With maxi we are low profiles in the scene, we like to work and contribute our music and our imprint without being behind any fashion conditioning, that is why we opted for two completely different versions for this vinyl; influenced by the sound that we like the most, house, with very musical and instrumental overtones, and on the other hand a more intense and effective sound for the DANCE FLOOR." with several American influences.

The main track is the one that occupies the entire A side, is the original, composed by Franco Cinelli, said track is like a loop that introduces us to the rhythm and with a very attractive arrangement of vocals, what is interesting is the constancy of the track, Franco manages to keep the public's attention with productions that have a particular attraction in his beats, which maintain the groove all the time and as the track unravels, it changes little by little, to return again to that hypnotic loop that very few can achieve.

The cover art is based on the photographic images of the same event, captured by a great professional such as Bruce Wuthrich, to whom we thank and give all the credits.

There will be a limited edition of several copies for Argentina, which will contain inserts with information and photos.
We like to do that as part of an added value; In addition, the followers of the label like it and value it.

About "Playin'4 The City" : 
Created in 1996, Playin' 4 The City is a french House band performing live. 
Olivier Portal is at the heart of this project; being simultaneously producer, arranger, and well-established musician on stage and in his studio.

He set up the label Straight Up with his long time friend Betino in 1996, where most of Playin's productions are signed on.
After a few collab's with Franck Roger (Sun Orchestra), Dj Deep (Funk Force Project), and multiple aliases, Olivier has defined a unique sounding House through his productions all over France, Europe, and US in the late 90's
This easy listening sound Portal creates will take you to another dimension, full of jazzy, groovy, and deep emotional vibes.

After many live performances at the well-known Rex Club, and all over Europe, Olivier has brought Playin' 4 The City to Chicago and held a 3 year monthly residency at Mad Bar.
During a decade Olivier took a break with Playin' but finally came back on the scene late 2015. With Emma Lamadji on vocals, Loic Gayot on saxophone & flute, Olivier Bridot on trumpet, Slikk Tim on bass & key tar, and Olivier Portal on keyboard and Mpc, Playin' 4 The City is ready for a solid come-back with recently well acclaimed gigs at Djoon Club, New Morning Jazz Club, and Macki Music Festival.
