The new deep house star Bolier recently had a huge record together with Redondo called Every Single Piece. The list of DJ’s supporting this track on the radio or in their sets is endless. With the first official release of Code Red under his belt, it was just a matter of time before Years would return to Code Red. The Norwegian talent his collaboration Zulu with Marcus Schössow was a great start of the label. Schössow turned to Years once again to close the marvelous first year of Code Red with this massive track called Forget You.

With early support from Tiësto, this new beauty from Years is bound to be a big anthem. Whether you play it at a festival, in the club or on the radio, Forget You touches you. The powerful bassline, euphoric synths and solid drive makes this new production by Years one no to forget easily. Our office basically turned in to a club when we played “Bagdal” for the first time. The same thing happened in Marcus Schössow his studio, so it was quite clear to us. Rob and Jack would be welcomed to the Code Red family!

 “Badgal” is Rob & Jack their next club weapon, driven on some massive percussion. It’s an energetic track from intro to outro and really keeps you going during a club night or festival. The dark and mystical vocals by Sanjin in the breaks give “Badgal” that little bit extra to make it something truly original. Result: None other than Steve Angello supports this tune for weeks now in his sets.

Like we said; “Badgal” is a continuation of Rob & Jack their current flow of groovy progressive house tunes. “ADA” is pure, an outing of creativity without any boundaries. The track sounds organic, has a progressive feel and contains a bit of tribal. It’s no secret that the Balkan brings forth many talented DJ/producers lately. With so much talent and creativity in this region it is not a surprise people start working together. It proves that music brings us together no matter what our differences are. “Batucada” is not only a very groovy track containing massive percussion. It is also a collaboration between Drop Department from Bosnia Herzegovina and Divolly & Markward from Serbia. Two nations at war in the nineties, but moving forward now, making it possible for creative minds to produce a tune like “Batucada”.

 “Batucada” is a track that will cause a lot of dancing feet and waving hands. Standing still is not an option because of the catchy and uplifting vocal sample and massive percussion. When Drop Department and Divolly & Markward sent us “Batucada”, Marcus Schössow just had to sign it. The groovy tune has that tribal percussion feel which was very popular halfway the zeroes. We love that!

Drop Department recently released a very catchy and Balkan influenced track on Sosumi Records. Divolly & Markward had some proper releases too on Flamingo Recordings and VOID Records. Actually, the two duo's worked together for Gregor Salto his label Mogana. However, for “Batucada” they turned it up a few notches to deliver an even bigger percussion track than before.
 
You can’t deny that the Serbian and Bosnian duo’s delivered a big club and festival tune with “Batucada”. And the beautiful thing is that this track might fit almost every house DJ his or her set. What is more important though, is that it makes you dance and want to celebrate the summer. We can’t wait for what Drop Department and Divolly & Markward will send us next, but for now all we need is “Batucada”, a dance floor, a few cocktails and your support on this special collaboration.

The summer anthem received a huge amount of support by some of the biggest and most respected DJ’s on the globe. A strong remix package of “ADA” was considered to be just a matter of time. Well, Bolier and Corey James had to honor to give this tune their own touch, and that’s exactly what they both did: They delivered fresh and amazing takes on our anthem “ADA”.

When you hear the original of “ADA” you immediately recognize the summer anthem feel. Bolier kept his take on his good friend Marcus Schössow and NEW_ID their collaboration sunny. However, he made it more intimate, techy and at the same time a bit more tropical. Bolier did with “ADA” what he manages to do with his own tracks too: Making it accessible, light hearted, groovy, but still very credible and desirable for fans and DJ’s.
 
It’s hard these days not to know one or two tracks from Bolier. The Dutchman created a recognizable (deep)house sound that brought him millions of Spotify plays. He’s one of Spinnin Records its front runners when it comes to the deeper house sounds. But he’s also one of Code Red and Marcus Schössow its best and most loyal friends.

After the free giveaway of “Theme in C# minor”, Bolier is back again on Code Red with his beautiful remix of “ADA”. A must have and hear for everyone that loves this summer anthem, but just wants to take it down a few notches, but still wants to groove and move.

Under the watchful eye of Marcus Schossow, Code Red has grown back to being a force within the music industry. The label expands its presence to introduce Code Black: an imprint dedicated to deeper cuts.

Code Red was revived thanks to Marcus' vision, and incredible contributions from himself and other artists in 2017. Artists like Corey James, Özgür Can, SOVTH and more crafted records receiving thousands of streams on the Spotify platform. DJs like Kryder, Hardwell, Tiësto and more included those same tracks in their radio shows. Schossow contributed the massive "Rumble" and titanic hit "Tell Me Why" to the label's renaissance.

There is no artist better suited to kick off the new label's catalog than Marcus himself. He revives his Englafjord alias to deliver "Alone Out There". This new record perfectly captures the intention of the Code Black imprint. With deep, dark basslines and eerie vocals, Englafjord crafts a rich, high-quality deep house record that packs a serious punch. "Alone Out There" proves that Schossow has his finger on the pulse of the ever-changing dance music market.

Stockholm-based talent Özgür Can delivers another successful tune, this time pairing up with Very Addictive for "Number One".

Fans of Code Red will not be strangers to Özgür and his darker sounds. He graced the imprint in late 2017 with a thundering two-track EP titled "Left 2 Dry". His most recent escapades include the release of "Parts Unknown" via Sebjak's Bibliothèque Records imprint.

"Number One" immediately highlights the intense vocals provided by Very Addictive. “Voices In My Head” brings a mysterious vibe, filled to the brim with a tantalizing bassline. Scintillating arps control the top line, as the track carefully winds through its chord progression. The breakdown slows these elements down, adding syncopated drums and subtle vocal influences before dropping into a beautiful denouement.

It was that belief that led @marcusschossow to begin the Code Red Music project in 2015. Based upon the concept of having talent meet talent, the label’s values as both an institution and record company were quickly acclaimed by many.

In Marcus’ words, “we wanted to create a place where our musical dreams can run wild”. A core value of this belief is to “speak to each other daily, seeking to help and assist wherever possible”. Not in the form of a constitution or set of rules, but creative freedom.

Code Red is focused on the musical journey and experience. Here, we value charts just as much as discovery. At the core of this journey is interaction. Through the shared vision of Marcus, our artists and our fans, we aspire to expand our quest for musical freedom and friendship.
