Edavārdi, Čižiks un Dubra (KRATA) izdod divus jaunus kopdarbus un dodas savā pirmajā Latvijas tūrē

Apvienība KRATA, kuras sastāvā ietilpst Edavārdi, Čižiks un Dubra, ir atgriezušies no ziemas miega ar diviem pavisam svaigiem singliem – “Negantnieks” un “Izolē mani”, kā arī aicina uz savu pirmo Latvijas tūri.

2022. gada septembrī iznāca apvienības pirmais minialbums “KRATA”, kas ne tikai iekaroja klausītāju ausis, bet arī paspēja iekļūt “Zelta Mikrofons” nominācijās.

“Mūsu mini albums "KRATA" bija tikai iesildīšanās. Es iemēģināju roku uz drum&bass, Čižiks mums pievienojās tajā brīdī, kad lielākā daļu dziesmu jau bija finiša taisnē un, piemēram, pēdējā brīdi pievienoja lielu riekšavu maģijas "Mūžīgajam dzinējam". Tagad mēs visi sākam no 0, no vienādām starta pozīcijām. "Negantnieks" un "Izolē mani" ir pirmais rezultāts tam, kas notiek, kad mēs saliekam savas galvas kopā un mēģinam nonākt pie rezultāta, kas kaut cik apmierinātu visus. Process ir sācies, es domāju, ka pēc mēģinājumiem un pirmās kopīgās tūres mūsu sadarbība zels un plauks kā skaists zieds, tāpēc, lūdzu, pat ja nepatīk šīs dziesmas, piesekojiet mums visur, jo būs tikai labāk,” komentē Edavārdi.

Savukārt Čižiks priecājas, ka “mēs beidzot esam labi sakratījušies vienā veselā kokteilī. Dubras skābums, Edaburamvārdi un Čižika liķieris. Es esmu īpaši sajūsmināts par "izolē mani", jo izdevās savienot saldo ar skābo un radīt kaut ko īpašu, ko jaunu un iekšķīgi sildošu”.

Jaunie skaņdarbi “Izolē mani” un “Negatnieks” ir jau pieejami visās populārākajās staumēšanas vietnēs.

Two On Drum & Bass (DJ MIX)

DJ and Producer Dubra has been shaking dancefloors and causing bass-induced mayhem since 2006. What started as a passion for beats soon turned into an obsession, leading him to craft a unique sound that blends Drum & Bass, Hip-Hop, and pure groove.

As 1/3 of the collective "KRATA" since 2022, Dubra and his crew have been making sure Latvia stays well-fed on Drum & Bass-infused Hip-Hop. Their work even landed them a Zelta Mikrofons nomination for the album Krata—proof that basslines and bars can go hand in hand.

But let’s rewind a bit: in 2016, Dubra joined forces with Arteo and got signed to Disco Cakes and Bomb Strikes, getting love from Featurecast, Stickybuds, Krafty Kuts, and other groove merchants.

2020 brought a Drum and Bass explosion with his EP Light on Westwood Recordings, plus the Krafty Kuts collab Step To This on Bomb Strikes. Then in 2021, they went full circle by remixing none other than hip-hop icon Chali 2na from Jurassic 5.

Fast forward to 2024, and Dubra dropped another banging EP, Stay—because he just won’t leave the scene alone.

And in 2025, the industry took notice (again), nominating him for the GAMMA Music Awards. Turns out, making bangers does get you places.

When he's not tearing up clubs, Dubra is shaping the next generation of DJs as co-founder and teacher at “Rīgas DJ skola”, because someone has to make sure the future sounds good.
