Editions1OF1 présente aujourd’hui «Catalogue», synthèse des explorations sonores parues durant ces quatre premières années.

Entre dérives introspectives et incursions abrasives, cette sélection rétrospective concentre les patientes recherches menées par l’ensemble des artistes et des formations qui ont participé à l’exploration de l’univers sonore écologique du label.

Vécu comme un laboratoire esthétique centré sur la recherche d’émotions originelles, spontanées et héritées d’influences diverses, la signature acoustique one-of-one s’est patiemment raffinée sorties après sorties par l’exploration de voies nouvelles, la combinaison de voix nouvelles, et par l’épreuve d’expériences soniques vécues chaque fois intensément.

1OF1 a grandi en se passant de tentative de définition, mais plutôt en revendiquant une certaine fluidité des genres avec une dimension fondamentalement écologique des propositions musicales, dont ce Catalogue dessine a posteriori une cohérence féconde, riche d’invitations à ouvrir et poursuivre de nouvelles pistes.

Editions1OF1 presents today “Catalogue”, a synthesis of the sonic explorations published during its four first years.

Oscillating between introspective drifts and abrasive incursions, this retrospective gathers the patient researches carried out by all the artists and formations who contributed to the label’s sonic ecologies.

Experienced as an aesthetics laboratory focused on the research of original and spontaneous emotions, yet inherited from varied influences, one-of-one’s acoustic signature was patiently built release after release by exploring novel ways, combining new voices and by living intense sonic experiments.

1OF1 grew with no need to define itself, but claiming a certain fluidity between genres with a fundamental ecological dimension of musical propositions, for which “Catalogue” draws retrospectively the fecund coherence, pledged with invitations to open and follow new paths.
