This track came together after an afternoon of digging through records and plugging in old synths. Beatmaker Mux Mool and I have been friends for a long time and we both share an appreciation for moments in music that take us by surprise. 
This song is about experiencing the beauty of the universe on a human level. Love, Nature, Space; these are all tough subjects to base your art on without being cheesy. Mux and I figured "why not start with cheesy" and there's nothing cheesier than sampling an 80's ballad.  It's because of that approach the two of us were able to add a unique musical depth to this song. Hope you guys enjoy.

I started this one off wanting to make an old-school glitch-hop beat. The vocal sample on this one "been around for a lightyear, haters get nightmares" resonates with me. I've been making music for a long time and still feel as inspired as ever. I crafted some distorted synths and breakbeats to sculpt this track into a heavyweight.

My original version of Not Quite Awake (from my ‘Come to Life album’) was (ironically enough) inspired by Emancipator, I even added violin samples as a cherry on top. It was fitting that when Doug Appling heard the song and asked me if he could remix the track, I jumped at the opportunity.

- One of my favorite duo’s of all time is Reflection Eternal. They’ve been a key  influence in the way I produce. I gave a lil nod to Hi-Tek’s “too late” with the synth line on this track. Reflection Eternal taught me how powerful collaborations can be within music. The first version of this song came from a jam session I had in Nashville with Gibbs and the boys from Cherub. We all spent a week cranking out music, recording songs, sessions, ideas. A few months later I came across the recordings while on a flight and decided to use some of it. It’s one of the most headphone friendly tracks on here, probably because that’s how it was made.

Modern Measure brings this classic jam into the future with new layers of melody and 808 subs. I played a show with the MM boys last new years and they mentioned doing a remix, I really didn't expect it to be on this level.

Featuring symptomatic elements of both artist’s unique styles, “Best of Luck” emerges as a contemplative chillhop track, full of ambiance. The song incorporates a mixture of live instrumentation and funky synth lines throughout, guiding the listener through a variety of chill and head-bopping soundscapes.
