Potential Energy marks an impressive label debut from London-based producer, and former Brighton music student, Delano. Although relatively new on the block, his productions uphold a sense of maturity and complexity, evidenced by recent support on BBC Radio 1, 6Music, and Boiler Room.

Comprised of 4 original tracks the EP stays true to its namesake; conjuring future rave fantasies that play on the build and release of tension, encapsulated by elements of trance euphoria, progressive techno and explosive bass & breaks.

Re-imaginings of ‘Close 2 U’ - from fellow label mate Debba and Keep Hush’s scg - bring things to a slower, stripped back focus, rounding off the release on two distinct chug and acid tides.

“I’m always on the hunt for old records” Delano explains, “but for this project I wanted to do the opposite, try to create sounds that spark ideas of what the clubs of the future could sound like”.

Dancefloor moments and community have also played a major role in shaping the EP: “I think the majority of my inspiration comes from the people around me. I’m lucky to be surrounded by a lot of very talented creators who share the same goals and ideals”.

The release also marks a welcome Erbium label debut for Jordan Harding and Kulv Ghatora aka Joku — a project aimed at bridging the gap between their individual artistic styles, combining bright, euphoric melodies and soundscapes with dark, gritty basslines and percussion.

But that's not all: Taipan Trax founder and mainstay producer Phasmid, alongside prog-trance newcomer Sattam, round things off with two mind-bending remixes.

Following up ‘Montezuma‘ from Steel Traxx in July, Birmingham-based Erbium Records prepare to release ‘Anthrobotics‘ from British production duo Joku, consisting of Jordan Harding and Kulv Ghatora...'Circuit Sensations' emerges as a spectral incursion into the void, fusing feverish drum breaks with the relentless hum of subterranean turbines. Set at a driving 132 BPM, the track unfurls into a web of cyber textures, where digital echoes of human voices reverberate through the machinery, creating a disembodied, almost otherworldly atmosphere...It's a deep-rooted soundtrack for the high-speed, self-absorbed nomads navigating the polished arteries of the modern city — a frenetic, pulse-driven score for those toiling at the fringes of a fast-paced, hyper-connected world.

HALT. are Craig Earp and Nathan Shwalbe. An electronic music duo from Birmingham UK, formed in the winter of 2019. As lifelong friends and collaborators - influenced by styles of Ambient, Drone, 1990’s IDM, Techno, and Soundtrack music - their productions radiate with emotion and natural chemistry.

Throughout their music, themes of nostalgia, dream states, and the occult are prominent, often rooted in highly textured and atmospheric environments. A sound motivated by the industrial landscapes of their Brutalist home city and inspired by the likes of Autechre, BOC, Morricone & Abul Mogard etc.
