This is my first release on all major streaming platforms and it is a difficult one. 
This track was written the week before my mum passed away last year and it was a way I could try and communicate how I was feeling at the time. I was honoured to have been able to play this to her just hours before she passed away and as such this track means so much more to me than just a first release. Lucy and I were caring for her every day and the only way I could try to get through the tough times was to write. 
Because of the significance of the track to me, It has felt almost wrong of me to promote it and that’s why I haven’t made many announcements about it. 
I hope you all enjoy Before You Go and I hope it also gives time for reflection and encourages you not to take life or those people around you for granted and to tell the people you love how much they mean to you whenever you get the chance. 
A big thank you for to Flatfoot Sam for youor help with the track and to Made Noise for the beautiful artwork, you both did an amazing job of portraying what this track was all about.
