My favourite synthetic instrument in a DAW is the short strings.  Chorus Gats with lots of reverb & ambience.  Trap Beats, soothing pads and defy all physics of music.  I love producing soundtracks with epic Beats and percussion drums like the Taiko.     

I’m not a pro though.  I’m an accountant by day and a recording artist/musician by night.   

My father was a real pro and played all instruments and his forte was bass and drums.
My mother was a piano teacher.  So it simply runs in the blood whether I like it or not.
