We just want to make songs that make you dance, laugh and sing along while offering some actual meaningful lyrics. 'Joy' is really about not giving up on what makes you happy and through all the adversity we are ultimately the ones who decide where our personal Joy really comes from. It doesn't come from anywhere outside ourselves. We can choose to be Joyful in all situations.

We wanted to explore the concepts of what GoodSex is to us and each song is a different perspective of what that is. GoodSex is the idea that we are all connected by universal love and joy. It is instinctual for us to connect with one another. It crosses all lines of separation with love being the common denominator. While ‘With Friends’ Volume 1 is a little more light hearted and sweet, Volume 2, which releases in the Spring, will be darker and more sarcastic or playful. We have also been noticing a lack of meaningful pop elements in the EDM world and one of our goals with this music was to take influences from pop icons like Stevie Wonder and Michael Jackson to bring some quality, vocal driven, pop music back to the scene. A strong universal vocal lyric can connect with people around the world and if we can reach the masses with our idea, we feel that there can be some actual impact from our message.
