After collaborating on some remixes DistalVision and Hentopan decided to create something unique together. It all started with an urge to return to authentic tribal feelings. Hentopan recorded his shaman drum and soon a song texture appeared when DistalVision mangled this into a beat track.
From this point forward it was clear for Hentopan the track had to be a dedication to New Zealand and it's Maori heritage. He sampled Hakka's from several recordings. Together DistalVision and Hentopan kept adding instrumental and electronic elements until the story was complete. A story of ancestral knowledge and indigenous uprising. Of unification between east and west, between old and new, between organic and electronic. A call out for non dual living and the true warrior spirit.
