Immersione Records presents its fifth various artists compilation, 'Immersione VA005', another sonic expedition that delves deep into minimalist territories while seamlessly blending diverse musical influences into a techno-oriented journey.

The compilation's compositional approach revolves around the concept of perpetual transformation, where sonic textures gradually evolve through an intricate interplay of tension and release, engaging the body and the mind in an immersive experience.

Despite their distinct characteristics, the tracks maintain a cohesive flow, opening with crew member KRV's deep and minimalist explorations that set the perfect tone for what follows. SAP, fresh from their recent "Exhile" release on Leviathan, returns with an intense, character-driven piece that channels nostalgic echoes of past decades.
The Immersione household presents itself in a deconstructed formation: Rafal S, Cixxx J, CNC, and Ucci each deliver individual interpretations spanning UK-influenced electronics, bass music, and techno. The compilation welcomes newcomers HLRTY, ETN ETN, and Marthial, who traverse territories from rapid breakbeats to Detroit-influenced 4/4 rhythms with sharp, penetrating precision
Label mainstay Helsmoortel makes his third appearance on the imprint with "mFunk", a pure, robust electro cut featuring fractured drums, thick basslines, vocoder elements, and engaging synthesizer work.
This track organically concludes the compilation, finally reaching the metaphorical depth of 36,000 feet.

'Immersione VA005' is more than just a collection of tracks – it's a meditation on the interconnectivity of sonic art forms and an invitation to explore music not merely as entertainment, but as a transformative journey into the depths of electronic sound.

After years of jamming, The Night in Bologna is the recording debut for L.A. SQUAD, an electronic “posse” from Bologna.
The track, with electro and bass influences, was composed in the studio during a jam session using mostly analog gears, creating an atmosphere where you could feel both dancing and sweating or walking in the nighty streets of Bologna.

Marco Bruno’s focus as an artist is to transmit, to communicate, to forge a whole from elements that are both
corporeal and transcendental, to conjure up a sonic and emotional scene that is diverse, pure and free. From his
early influences, this prodigious artist began his creative journey experiencing the essence of growth allowing to
cross the national border performing in the most respectable European capitals.
His productions, which are defined more by feeling than by genre, contain glints of Ambient, Breaks, Techno, but
stand apart from specific classification: mindset is geared towards versatility, completeness. Milestones of his
discography are the records released on Ben Sims' platforms: Symbolism, Hardgroove and Machine: a project
curated by Ben himself and Kirk Degiorgio that will see Marco alongside giants like Luke Slater, Robert Hood,
Function, Oscar Mulero, Steffi and many more.
Surfing on the waves of exploration, Marco Bruno gives life to his own label 'Evighet' (which etymologically
derives from Swedish and means 'Eternity'): a journey centred on the description of identity nuances, an
anthropological storytelling format focused on how human personalities can evolve and define themselves over
time: the most transcendental vision of Evighet in which Marco Bruno aims to outline his own interpretation of
Electronic Music in an indefinite temporal space. The project will also see Marco engaged outside the club
scenario, composing music for theatrical projects (and not only), effectively opening up his frontiers as a
storyteller.

FJ40 Bass Corp are Neil Landstrumm and Grienkho, taking the name from a glorious cruiser from the 60' owned by both, they usually record music "off the road" when they meet between gigs. "Milano Basement" was Recorded at Serendeepity Record store basement studio using vintage dave Smith sequential instruments, cold Swedish grooveboxes and a korg minilogue.

The second compilation produced by Immersione Records is named after the sea monster “Nessie” and will be released on Friday the 10th of March 2023, distributed by Triple Vision.

Nessie will be available for streaming and download on the label's digital platforms, while limited edition cassettes and other official merchandise will be available for purchase on the label’s Bandcamp.
 
Just like “Kraken”, Nessie is another sea monster recalling the essence of the label itself: like a diver, we descend into the depths of electronic dance music looking for unknown sounds yet to be selected and brought to light.

This second chapter is tinged with Break, Jungle and UK Bass sounds that surface all over this compilation. The line-up is a mix of acclaimed artists, emerging faces and new projects: Marco Bruno, a rapidly growing Italian talent who recently released on Symbolism, Earwiggle and Truncate; Aderal, an Italo-Moroccan duo and live hardware project recently heard on Blush Recordings; Mitrokhin Commision, the new project involving longtime friends Lucretio and Grienkho featuring sounds strongly inspired by rave and tribe imagery; FJ40 Bass Corp, a collaboration between Scottish legend Neil Landstrumm and Grienkho, on their first release together on our label.
In-house heroes L.A Squad are also on the tracklist with their full line up (Ucci, Computer Numerical Control, Rafal S, and Cixxx J), and a track born during a jam. Flavio Deff, another Link Academy artist, well-known in Bologna and in the national scene, debuts on Immersione with an heavily oldschool informed number.
The more acid and hardgroove version of the italian house music mainstay and connoisseur DJ Rou, aka DJ VVEEYY, also debuts on the label with his new project, and Lucretio ends the record with a tribute to the 8bit and gaming sounds of the late 80s.
 
Immersione Records is a label founded in Bologna in September 2022 and curated by the Link Academy team. Immersione is one of Link Academy’s projects, which are aimed at supporting artistic languages such as concerts, talks, web-radio and workshops. Years of careful programming have translated into support and deep affection from the public, which is essential for the development of this project.

Immersione Records is an artists’ label for artists that stands outside the rules imposed by the market to create a more equitable music ecosystem for those who are part of it, supporting innovative and independent projects.

many other young DJs at the moment. His forward thinking

mutant-stomping Techno and surrealist Droning, coordinating time
and space in a truly transportive communion with the listeners, that
transcend trends and styles.

He is a go-to selector, that prefer a challenging audience and is
constantly open to the unexpected. His mind-bending singular sets
have earned him a residence at Berlin inclusive party METARAVE, and
performed in clubs like Tresor, Oxi Club, Aeden sharing booth with
artists like Object Blue, Ma Sha, Kessler, Miley Serious to name a few.

Now he is currently working on his label and preparing his upcoming
2x12" album inspired by his new residency in Berlin.

Hailing from the lands that brought the world new
beat, Helsmoortel saw the light after a couple of
musical and hedonic explorations. Influenced by 90s
boom bap hip hop, rave, jungle, techno and drum and
bass, he looks forward to pushing the feelings that
these genres gave him as a small-town boy, into a
new aesthetic era.
In September 2022 he came out with the "Belgica"
EP produced by Avoidant, a label run by Soma
Records. The release was supported by clubbing
giants such as Laurent Garnier, Dave Clarke and
The Advent.
Moreover, some of his tracks were selected for the
playlist curated by Psytox for Coincidence Records

Leviathan is featuring a well-defined genre line: the solid groove of Sola Contagio, a project by Mark Morris (released on labels such as CLR and Naked lunch); Dylan C, straight from Austin, TX, wraps our ears in the depths of Slime Dog, while L.A. Hailing from the lands that brought the world new beat, Helsmoortel saw the light after a couple of musical and hedonic explorations. Influenced by 90s boom bap hip hop, rave, jungle, techno and drum and bass, he looks forward to push the feelings that these genres gave him as a small-town boy, into a new aesthetic era. Born in 1996, after being in a few bands as drummer, since 2015 he is focused on electronics live set. Milestones of his discography are records released on Blueprint Records, Machine, Symbolism, Hardgroove, Earwiggle and more. Surfing on the wave of exploration, he founded 'Evighet Records': a multidimensional platform focused on a storytelling approach by crafting sound paths through electronic music in an indefinite space-time.
