Alberto Melloni is an italian electro-disco producer, musician, DJ and co-owner of Raibano Records. In the early days of his musical career, as guitarist and synths player, he stepped into the stages through Italy and Europe with many different artists.

Today, as DJ and producer, Alberto carries on his solo project by producing new music somewhere between disco, italo, afro, techno and rock.

Italian producer Alberto Melloni collaborates with Mexican producer Alex Aguayo on a four track EP titled ‘Matter of time’. The EP comprises two uplifting originals and two floor filling remixes from Tulioxi and Empathy Slow. Alberto & Alex who have featured on labels such as Nein Records, Paradiso and Emerald & Doreen just to name a few are back with another stomping release on @InflectRecords

An EP perfect for the summer season. Just in time for the return of dance. Offering up an array of submerged deep bass lines layered over exhilarating progressive leads in a soundscape concoction. Resulting in a contrast of emotions throughout the EP from ecstasy to reflectiveness. Spine tingling melodies help generate a sense of reflection both within the music and of the troubles of today, as they seem to drift away and become a distant memory.

Max Ferrer is a chilean music multi instrumentalist, producer and DJ based in Berlin, half of the duo Random Atlas (Esthétique, Feinstoff, SXDNS and soon on HEARec). From an early age he has searched in music and sound design for a collision between rock and electronic music, playing in several bands, producing for different projects and soundtrack for movies. He is currently working on his own music with influences from Post Punk, Disco, Downtempo and Techno, which will be released on labels such as Hard Fist and Belly Dance Services, just to name a few. The title and artwork of this EP are inspired by the sounds of the night. ‘Nyx’ represents the dawn of this beginning. The great Goddess of the night, who emerged as the dawn of creation. As Inflect starts their journey with their first release, the name is not only appropriate but seems very fitting. The title track 'NYX' featuring both DaVaK and Empathy Slow, is a gallivanting chuggy-disco groove, full of resonating acid sounds and jittery percussion!

She was elegant and daring, beautiful and hypnotic as she danced the night away. Who knew where she'd come from and what magnificent spirit had brought her to life beneath the cloak of darkness and the dancing stars. The way in which she moved was fascinating and perplexing, dancing atop the sand as the wind howled and the rain poured. It were as if she was commanding some great orchestra, up there in the sky, as the thunder crashed and the bangs of drums echoed between the clouds. She was god, her name was Hestia. 

Inflect Records are set to release a compilation of new material from an assortment of artists, proto disco, italo, acid and beyond on a fun filled record set to move dancefloors and festivals. This track, "Hestia", features on the release, an arpeggio driven affair by JackWasFaster.

A fantastic edit by Slidus 'Temptation’ by Empathy Slow. Impressive work that keeps intact the key elements of the original but layered with a fluctuating bassline and energising synth leads, groovy drums combined with the original vibe of Slidus which would tempt anyone to the dancefloor.

'Music from an era that time forgot'

Inflect is a dedicated Record Label specialising in Indie Dance. At the outset Inflect originated in Liverpool. Inflect is part English and part Lithuanian and currently based in Vilnius and Leeds. 


As we know trends are forever changing, particularly ones from the past coming back into the mainstream, such as 80’s style clothing and formats such as vinyl and analogue music production equipment, with more advanced parameters. Our particular sound is specific to these trends. It is, essentially, music from all corners of the globe coming together to create an abstract style of electronic body music.

We are bringing you 1980’s disco, acid house, music with a modernised deep/dark techno feel. We believe it is a combination of the disco from the UK/Italy and the dark Techno imports from Central Europe, mixed with influences from Eastern European countries such as Lithuania, to create The Inflect Style.
