“I want to let everyone know; I’m here to sing what I want to say, not to entertain you.” Anthony Wong Yiu Ming then sang “Ask Me” in front of the court gates afterwards.

XSGACHA have replayed the video clip many times. They’ve definitely listened to the song, but they still replayed the clip as a way to stay longer in feeling of "thankful" and ‘never let fellow travellers feel lonely’.

A sense of style and attitude always shows itself within the process of creation. Anthony Wong Yiu Ming, one half of the experimental Cantopop duo Tat Ming Pair and one of the members of Hong Kong music production company People Mountain People Sea, has always been someone that we’ve highly respected. During the night when the court closed the case, feelings of throbbing and distress arise. Throbbing from his perseverance & songs, distressed by the misfortunes & regrets of the times. To cover one of his songs is to support him in spirit, for self-relief, and as a way to respond to what he said in front of Eastern Law Courts Building; Hong Kong people have to keep singing.

Originally having chosen to cover ‘Went Missing’ composed by Arion
(R.I.P.), and on the same day watching Albert Leung’s RTHK interview that’s been taken down, about Zen and stubbornness, we found our way to one of the songs that he had written for Anthony ‘Next Station: Heaven’. To us, this song is an experimental way of putting thoughts into music. Like what we said before, this is an immediate emotional relief.

For this new project, XSGACHA have invited Kelvin T to be a part of the music, proposing to be in a distinctly new sonic territory by combining nu-poetry trip-hop vocals and disordered electronics. The last line of the song “please don't forget” is also a continuation of an important appeal & call-for-action.

「我想話畀大家聽，我嘅說話，我用歌聲去講，我唔係娛樂緊大家。」黃耀明喺法庭門口將話說完隨之而來唱出《問我》。

小本生燈反覆地重播以上片段，首歌一定有聽過，重複是因為希望可以流連多一會，「衷心感謝」以及「不要讓同路人感到孤單」的思緒裡面。

創作上流露獨有風格氣派，一直都願意表達對世事感受的達明一派/人山人海成員黃耀明，係我哋尊重嘅歌者。法庭結案當晚，感動和惋惜在心上徘徊，感動是沿於聽到一如以往的堅持和歌唱，惋惜來自時代的不幸與遺憾。Cover一首他的歌，作為心靈上的支持，或自我安慰，也是回應黃耀明在東區法院門口的呼籲: 香港人繼續唱下去。

最初選擇亞里安(R.I.P)作曲的《下落不明》，同日收睇咗已被RTHK下架的林夕近年訪問，內容是禪味擇善固執，然後跟著這路徑找到他為黃填詞的《下一站天國》，這歌於我哋身上，係實驗式憑歌寄意，就像以上所講，這是我哋能夠即時去做嘅行動和情緒舒發。
