Inspired by downshifting cyberpunk originating from Chornobyl, the album Anomaly from Kyiv native Lostlojic is a true artifact in electronic music: firstly, it is a unique combination of trance synthesizers with deep smoky dubstep, interspersed with the sounds of nature from the Carpathian Mountains, and echoes of the cultural heritage of folk songs. Spatial sounds penetrate the secret places of your brain in a completely natural way, like cordyceps, creating unexpected neural connections. Secondly - it's a unique creative collaboration between a photographer Julia Coda, a tattoo artist Anton Kresan - master of dark tribal genre, musicians Lostlojic with Tadan on the remix - who’s tactile sounds will reward the receptors of the attentive listener with a dose of dopamine, technologies of the fleeting past and nature. The release of a debut album should be something to celebrate. But how would unbridled cheer be possible when your home country is invaded and uncertainty is the only consistent factor in your life? Still, despite this troublesome period, marked by great anxiety and grave concern, Ukraine native Lostlojic releases his first LP, Мамай (pronounced ‘Mamay’), on our TECH-UM label. The title is derived from the legendary Cossack folk hero of the same name, who symbolizes the strength, freedom and fidelity of the Ukrainian people. Its ten compositions transform and hypnotize the listener, or shoot a sudden jolt of electricity through their bodies. ‘Rosebud’, for instance, takes its name from – and features a sample of – Orson Welles’ 1941 landmark film Citizen Kane and is more than just pleasing to the ear; it’s a state of mind. The Ukrainian wunderkind knows how to play upon your aural perception like no other! Many of its pieces are permeated with repeating phrases, which help you lull into the perfect mental state in which to fully grasp and enjoy this revolutionary record.
The album’s atmosphere seems at times to be grim, then mysterious, even alternately welcoming or hinting at hope and desire and in some instances convey all of these sensations at once. Which is, of course, quite fitting for the trying times we find ourselves in right now. It’s a major factor why this stunning debut necessitates repeated listening! A special edition of Мамай will be released, sporting a cover design that features the Ukrainian flag. All profits from this LP will be contributed to Lostlojic’s home country in this time of great need!

'Sentimentalist' phrase from "Tango of Death" (1991) film used, directed by Oleksandr Muratov based on Mykola Khvylovy story about the political repressions of the 20s in Ukraine. Directors had to shoot films on topics important to them, regardless of the threat of being sentenced to prison, or even shot. Ukrainian cinema has always been distinguished by its poetics, sentimentality, sincerity and experimentalism, there is a tendency towards metaphoricality and allegoricality in understanding reality. Dedicated to the talented sons of Ukraine who gave their lives in the struggle for a bright future.

Hanna Svirska is an electronic artist based in Kyiv, Ukraine. Hanna's music combines old ambient and new-age with contemporary electronica and folk motives. She uses a granular synthesis of nature sound, choral singing, and recordings from the air. Her work is an experiment with textures, sampler synthesis, and vocal loops. Mystictrax is happy to present her latest work, Zabuttya. The central theme is escaping from reality. Because everyone has their own oblivion. It can be love, a hobby, or a computer game. Just something that can help our brain to release the tension, something that can help us to relax. The character of the main track finds her oblivion in the state of dissolving in supernatural transcendental meditation. There is no color, no sound, illusion, pain or remorse. There is only calm. She decides to stay there forever by making a deal with wandering spirits. They offer her a new body of wind and clouds if she never returns to the earth. The EP consists of 4 tracks, 3 created in collaboration with Ukrainian electronic artists. Those who joined the search for the oblivion: Pymin, Lostlojic, Revshark, Seréen.

Powerful, dark and mesmerizing Club Trax with a fierce undertone, that is the sound of Lostlojic on the first sublime 6 track TECH-UM release, a project by the Deeptrax founder and Techno enthusiast Chris Roorda, issueing white labels of deeper intelligent stormy techno on very Limited Edition vinyl of only 150 pieces

Releasing under labels such as Furthur Electronix, Neo Violence or Thirty Year Records, Lostlojic is back on TECH-UM to spread his deep, funked up but ferocious sound. His experiences with different genres let him into deeper and more sophisticated realms of electronic music. Lostlojic's distinct sound and his experience as an excellent DJ and producer made him a perfect candidate for the first release of the newfound Frisian label. Deep sub-bass and drum-breaks with cutting, dubbed out, gloomy Lo-Fi accents dancing together to create a poetic and hypnotic piece of art made for the dancefloor.
