Leck Meine Bahn - they are back! These two space cadets bring back home some heavy radiated elements from outer space. After a two year odyssey, they return back to mother earth with an insane Live Set (Backslash Festival 2022) and a Battery Point EP full of blasting fusion energy. Their musical capsule comes packed with new textures, mixed up with an unholy but tasty reduction of Jungle and Trance substances melting with a fusion of Bass Music and industrial space chugs.
This cosmologic sound match is leading to a new co-dependency between gravity and bass. Their enigmatic grooves are ponderous yet playful and every alien ear which listened to this intergalactic call so far, could not escape this quirky dance atmosphere. Brainwaves music commanders aka LMB are Estebahn and Yolek and this composition is their second EP which results to an extension of new boundaries in our further rave solar system. Including two massive remixes by Jan Loup and Nuevo Prohibido to beam up every sort of flesh to the the next bass portal. Space alert!

Drawing on their extensive stage experience, they use their body as an instrument—integrating stripper floor work and dance with movement sensors that manipulate sound in real time, playing music from unexpected orifices of the body, and creating an immersion that transcends sound. Return of the mighty Jack Pattern on the highly collectable Lustapoderosa label. A lot like the world we currently occupy, Jack Pattern's sound heads darker on this release, recalling distant memories of dystopian nuclear wastelands, Total Recall-esque interplanetary life and the rise of AI machines. With a hefty collection of vintage drum boxes and weighty analogue synthesizers, the EP throbs and hums in all the right places, with UnknownMix singer Magda Vogel's vocals really doing the track on "Codex". Fans of that dark, electroid sound from Borft, Frak and Tillander will love this, as will general lovers of EBM and new beat. It's discordant but harmonious, jagged and mechanical but rhythmic and enveloping. It's absolutely brilliant but definitely not for the faint hearted!

Structural racism, discrimination and violence against marginalized humans has not ended just because one clown lost his presidential seat. There is no time to rest, no time to celebrate, no time to feel save. Wrong social expectations are still strong and driving shame and guilt into our society in our friendships and family. Religion, money and the patriarchy are still ruling our decisions, our deepest fears of losing control are cemented in our frontal cortex. We already lost control! But no worries, we just have to unlearn these deep-rooted structures and free ourselves from our greatest enemy and best friend: our own body and our own soul.

There is still a lot to do and to reflect on. Lest focus on and educate ourselves.

This mix reflects the darker side of this process. The light seems so far away... However, low-frequency waves pass can pass through the maze of confusion and brighten up this damaged landscape. Sellyourmania is a great selector with a touch of rhythmic massacres and mysterious melodies. Sinister, dark, pre-apocalyptic and with a peculiar twist that will enchant every listener. Follow the path.
