With a finely balanced blend of the celestial and the down right filthy, Son Orbis is back with another huge EP. Big Nine transcends the earthly plains and takes you to a higher realm. With squelching synths and violent vocal chops, Son Orbis gives us a glimpse into a dystopian world. Slicing through and giving the EP it’s heartbeat are the hard kicks and elegant breaks that work together to create a huge sound. Paying homage to the Jungle sounds of the 90’s, various vocal samples are dropped in throughout. No matter what track you are listening to of this EP, in a club, on the bus or in the shower - all of them deserve a two finger gun salute.

PREMIERE: Son Orbis - Big Nine [MILKIT]

SDS MAX is a 28 year old half Welsh half Kiwi currently living in London. He’s appeared on labels such as Erbium Records, Chequered Wax and most recently his debut vinyl EP on Mixing Mates. He also set up his own label this year HEFTY BRUISES which saw a vinyl release with Private Caller and a track from himself. Having just started a residency on Deptford based radio station AAJA and also a monthly slot on Komrad Radio. Except to hear lots uk bass, techno and glitch, as he showcases the direction he wants to push the label as well as forthcoming bits.
