Dominican Bachata music meets the mind of the electronic chameleon. The contortions in sound design come alive in this metaphysical journey of psychedelic spiced rum and folkloric roots that kick open the doors of perception. A Sandmurai is a term for the common Dominican person's flip-flops. It is a folkloric symbol for the basic item that is durable, flexible, withstanding the hardest of workdays through the streets and dirt, a true reflection of the Dominican spirit to keep pushing ON.

SANDMURAI

FUENTE means "fountain" in Spanish. FUETE means "whip". The song subliminally tells the story of pursuing a love affair with the ideal person while in the midst of distorted/hallucinogenic perceptions. The thirst for this other feels as real as finding a water "fountain" in the dry desert, but when drunk in these fantasies, reality reveals there's always an unexpected price to pay. When the truth is revealed through radical twists and turns, a new violent dance with destiny emerges. Perseverance through this lands them calm after the storm. After enduring the "whip" of time, they finally realize to be "Careful what you wish for".
