"So there's been this thing stuck insidse my head for kinda long now. It goes all the way back to my first time seeing this movie. That song in that scene was like so mesmorizing, unique and atmospherical that it actually persued me to go back to a remastered projection of that film."

"Little did i know i was 'bout to get stuck for an hour because of a massive power shortage in this Paris district that night. Movie was on for a good 30 minutes when it went blank, the scene is roughly at 50' and i was on a date with a girl i barely knew *laughter*."

"Right after, i was defo convinced i needed to extand this long hour wait tension of unkown leading to finally seeing the scene - as the tension of the scene itself - into a gloomy podcast."

I'm delighted i've managed to compil denser atmospheres for Motorium, compared to the stuff i usually play.

Expect obscure and wet slowness, sometimes revived by percussions and rhythms with major notes. Warm smell and vanilla taste. Sometimes frenetic dancing, left-right-left-right, then back down again, sucked into a padded sofa…

My intention with this mix was to craft a moody and dark atmosphere that gradually transitions into energetic, frenetic high frequencies. It balances a chaotic yet soothing energy, maintaining a deeply introspective and mental vibe throughout.
I couldn't help but end the mix with a quirky, dub-infused selection to loosen things up :)
