@rayn_bass played this set opening for Mersiv’s Audiosphere Tour in New York City the very night our beatport chart-topping Launch Compilation came out. Magic was in the air, and now you get to experience it yourself.

We’re launching a new mix series is called ‘Balance Point Sessions’, connecting to our label’s ongoing goal of uncovering bass music’s goldilocks zone. The series will be another entry in our exploration of music that sits in the ‘finesse pocket’, balancing dance floor energy and introspective atmospheres across the diaspora of bass-heavy genres.

Though Rayn’s entry is Balance Point Sessions 1, it’s technically our second mix in the series after @po-dell did a minimix showcasing our launch compilation last month. We added both to a new sc playlist.

Our goal with this mix series is to capture not just amalgamations of music, but magic moments that deserve to be relived.

As we seek to grow our community we also want to use this series to create a space for those who are DJ and performance-first artists, rather than limit ourselves.

We’ve got some exciting plans for future guests as we launch these mixes every three weeks.
