Beyond Humans is an electronic music duo integrated by Christian Lucio Sánchez (a.k.a. Chris Lucsan) and Juan Lucio Sánchez (a.k.a. Geoastra) from Colombia, two brothers with a futuristic vision of music who are strongly influenced by techno and ambient.

Chris and Juan started making music together in the year 2008 under the name of "Geometric89", then, in 2018 they decided to redefine their musical concept founding "Beyond Humans". They have been constantly performing at different festivals and clubs alongside artists like Speedy J, Polar Inertia, Setaoc Mass, The Ripped, Mental Resonance, Traversable Message, Developer and Claudio PRC, to name a few. Also, they've been collaborating with different labels like Virescence, G89 Records, No Way, Force Inc. / Mille Plateaux, UTCH Records and Alss, releasing tracks for compilations, original EP's and some remixes throughout the years.

Raroh - Above the Ground (Incl. TVS And Beyond Humans Remixes) [NWR024]

'Above The Ground' is the 24th installment of the No Way Records' saga, signed by Raroh, the prolific polish producer who is quickly establishing himself into the electronic music world. 
His debut album is a work of pure and sparky techno. The three original cuts space between the progressive shape of the opening track, to the more cosmic atmospheres of 'Rhizai' with the suspended and soft pads of 'Aether' being the junction between the two. TVS and Beyond Humans are in charge of the remixes, the first gives the title track a more metallic and stinging twist, meanwhile the closing track has been given a brighter yet progressive touch.

The first vinyl is purely dedicated to the energetic Sardinian scene, opened up by DJ Datch and Andrea Cossu’s sharp yet cosmic sounds. On the B side Ness & Kryss Hypnowave on their way to a black and white, hypnotic journey.

Introducing the second vinyl is Craft with his sidereal journey, and Svarog continuing with his distinct drum machine. Sicarius Hahni gives the record a foggy and suspended mood, while Massa wraps thing up with warmer touch!

New ep at No Way home for the Italian duo Bichord, a work of pure rarefied and meditative ambient. Three tracks ranging from the suspended drone music of 'Dimensione' and 'Costante', to the more spacey atmospheres of 'Lineare'. The original tracks are also entrusted to three artists who offer a personal reinterpretation, such as Hironori Takahashi who re-elaborates Dimensione in a techno key, Infinity that embellishes Lineare with a hypnotic and syncopated sequence, Ryogo Yamamori with his Brian Eno's school reinterpretation of Costantel. A cerebral and refined ep that lends itself to various listening levels.

A Bichord, as is well known, is a chord of two notes played at the same time: this image is what Manuel Bozza & Federica Farinelli identify as their concept, since they can create a harmonic and distinctive sound combining very different backgrounds and abilities, resulting in a very personal interpretation and blend of Experimental Techno and Ambient music.
The continuous research of new forms of expression and the incessant dedication to music were the keys of Bichord’s productions, characterized by the alternation of ethereal atmospheres and acid sounds combined with structured rhythms.

They developed their live project using digital and analogue equipment in combination with vocals, resulting into a singular trip in perfect balance between abstraction and rhythm, marked by a strong melodic impact. The set list draws on the several albums co-produced by the artists.
They also created a live show including tracks from their solo productions to captivate the public into their creative flow, directly conveying their passion to the audience, showing the long work of refinement and attention to detail that characterises the whole project.
The evocative mark of their sound characterises their dj sets too, that bring the listener into a mental trip along suggestive sceneries full of emotion.

On the occasion of our second anniversary we are happy to present you a series of podcasts to celebrate it. The second one is mixed by "Garance"

Immersed in electronic music in the 90s', with the program Pump it Up Live of Swiss radio Couleur3, inspired by labels such as Buzzin' fly, Cocoon or Moon Harbour, by melodic layers of deephouse and deeptechno, Garance started deejaying in the mid-2000. Recently, she played, among others, at D-Edge (São Paulo), Ritter Bützke (Berlin) or Electron Festival (Geneva), and hosts a monthly radio show on the greek Westradio.gr.

“When the Humans Will Walk With the Gods” is the name of the new vinyl production for No Way Records. It's signed by Moreno Mariotti, aka Dorian Gray, Italian DJ and producer, author of several prestigious releases for labels such as Ascetic, Illegal Alien, Edit Select and The Gods Planet for to name a few. This new work, composed of three originals and a remix made by Blazej Malinowski, opens with "Landing on the Shardana Planet", a piece with a great atmosphere supported by a tenuous drum machine that is never invasive. In "Stellar Wanderer" instead the rhythm becomes protagonist weaving in a sort of escape by enveloping analogical arpeggios. In side B we find “Airy Gravity”, an inspired track that brilliantly feeds electronic pulses with incisive rhythms. The ep close with a rework of “Airy Gravity” by Blazej Malinowski, which gives to the original a more caustic and powerful connotation, leaving it permeating with the same cosmic reflections. Awesome production in perfect balance between cerebral and physical fulfillment.

Traversable Message is the current project of Juan Pulgarín, DJ and producer of Pereira (Colombia) that begins in the world of electronic music in 2007, from that year until today, he has been constantly exploring and developing his sound until he finds his own musical identity. Its sound is greatly influenced by Techno, Ambient, Drone and Experimental music; This makes it a perfect balance between the dance floor and the mind, using simplicity as a tool for immersion in your sessions. The two originals are reworked by two remixers, Aquiver gives Udaipur a darker and deeper connotation, while Infinity transforms the nebulous atmospheres of Agra into pure hypnotic and pressing techno.

After the ep Atlantis released in 2019, the producer Dj Datch returns to No Way Records with Diary of my Misanthropy. The ep consists of two original and two remixes entrusted to the expert hands of Steve Parker and Ruhig. The song that gives the EP its name is pure plastic and monolithic techno, where a hypnotic bassline wraps itself sinuously around a martial and pressing rhythm. Steve Parker reinterprets Diary of my Misanthropy giving it less dark shades while preserving the hypnotic ecstasy of the original intact. The nocturnal atmospheres characterize Decompression, according to the original of the ep, where a pad of Morodian memory accompanies a dusty drum machine. Ruhig's remix is ​​an overwhelming surf on the sine waves of an electronic ocean. Diary of my Misanthropy will be available both on vinyl and digitally.

“Odissee Erranti” is the new No way Records’ production entrusted to Andrea Cossu. Seen him already on remix duties for Dj Datch’s “Atlantis”, Cossu debut this time with an EP composed of two originals and two remixes taken care by The Alchemical Theory and Craft. The track giving the EP its title is liquid and lunar techno where an elegant drum machine is matched with an ethereal yet unreachable pad, meanwhile The Alchemical Theory’s reinterpretation gives the track a much more hypnotic atmosphere. In the second original “Von Meer Getragen” we clearly notice Detroit influences nevertheless the track maintains Cossu’s typical lunar touch. Last but no Least Carft’s remix is an ecstatic kaleidoscope of synthetic colors.

No Way Podcast 022 - Craft

Born in NYC, Craft is an international music producer, composer and DJ based in Brooklyn with strong roots in Italy. He started to mix records in New York City in 1994 and his first original music productions date back to Rome in 1999. His discography now includes over 100 releases in both vinyl and digital formats across 15 EP’s, concept albums, collaborations and remixes released on more than 40 labels based in a dozen countries. In 2014 Craft composed a musical score for a Mexican cartel movie contributing 4 theme tracks. In 2018 he produced original music for a modern theatre production performing with the cast on tour in Abruzzo, Italy and at other similar theatre shows around NYC. In 2019 he began a collaboration of a series of music-centric cinematic videos as part of JediCollective.

Craft is recognized as co-founder of New York City’s intimate underground techno event series “Twice as Proper”. Since 2007, he curated over 270 underground showcases in basements, rooftops, warehouses, clubs and secret after-hours in Manhattan and Brooklyn. The longstanding series of Twice as Proper events have occasionally extended out to Detroit, Washington DC, Barcelona, Terracina, Mexico City and Playa del Carmen showcasing international artists alongside local techno and ambient acts.

In 2012 Craft co-found “Feed The Raver” show and was the radio host for 6 seasons airing regularly on Saturdays in the UK and online presenting local artists from around the world. 
Craft is founder of the Party People™ clothing line of shirts, hoodies, hats, facemasks, record bags, accessories and stickers represented by enthusiasts around the globe since 2007.

Gustavo Lima, aka A Thousand Details can be considered possibly as one of the most important rising artist of Portugal ́s techno scene. In the recent years this Porto based producer has established himself at the forefront of Portugal ́s next generation of techno DJs.

With releases in different labels as Dynamic Reflection, Edit Select, Northallsen, Children of Tomorrow his home is ATD Records, a self-release label with a 100% Made in Portugal concept. Known for fast paced, dark and somewhat distorted rhythms this energetic and charismatic Dj is huge fan of hardware synthesizers, FXs, drum machines, Eurorack and his studio is own sanctuary of creation. Gustavo place emphasis on all crevices of the electronic music spectrum,which is reflected on side projects doing ambient and drone music and the sets hepieces together from his sound collection.

A Thousand Details has fast become recognized as a seasoned digger having the opportunity of playing throughout Portugal and at most of the major clubs in Porto such us GARE, Plano B as well as Neopop festival.

No Way Podcast 025 - A Thousand Details

Established in 2016 as a vinyl and digital label, No Way Records was born with no conditioning and no model to emulate, but a singular idea informed by the white arrow of the logo spearheading the ideology of the label. This is not a Techno label. This is music informed by the synthesised soundscapes of electronic traditions and transmitted on the pulse of a contemporary dance floor.  Between the perfunctory roots of Techno to the hedonistic heights of melodic electronica, No Way thrives. Music conceived in the imagined alternative narratives of Sci-Fi and Horror fiction, transmogrify in the beat of a primordial rhythm. Where records fraternise with all sides of the dance floor, from the beat-less expanse of ambient genres to the insistence of a 4-4 beat, No Way exists as a singular voice evolving through the artistic bodies within our ranks.
