【Ocarina Sings】Everything Stays (Acapella)

Woop woop! I said I would get around to redoing this when the moresampler update came out, and I did! Just...a lot of updates later XD Anyway, it turned out to be worth the wait because of all of the amazing flags moresampler has added. It sounds like a whole new voicebank. At last! Meiji doesn't sound like she's aggressive anymore! Anyway, I used her Fairy append, and if you were curious the flags were g5Mt-42, excluding certain parts where I played with the flags to express different emotional tones. The last verse used the flags g5Mt-40 for a bit of emphasis.

Wassup wassup! Look who's posting twice within a reasonable amount of time! And also finally tuning on my own :D Fingers crossed the mixing isn't awful. Gotta say, working with Miku's V4x English is like 1000000x easier than V3. Never got far with V3 at all it was so difficult. But I did think using V3's somewhat darker sound added for some nice flavor, so it cameos with 'than a biohazard.' No harmonies on the VSQx, but they weren't too difficult to pick out from the original. I love a good excuse to dust off my music theory knowledge. (...What do you mean you don't need music theory to replicate harmonies? Shhhh)

I know this cover exists on YouTube already, but I really wanted to do it myself. Soundcloud links don't appear high on Google's list, so I figure this is okay.

Bi☣hazard【Miku Hatsune V4x English】

Hello! I am not dead! If anyone else has done this, I'm sorry. I started this cover months ago. As of when I checked back then no one had. Anyway, I fell in love with this version and just had to cover it. It's so gorgeous. God I love V4. This particular dark/soft synth mix is just heavenly. I think I'm getting pretty good at Vocaloid too! I used some of the vibrato already on the VSQx and then fiddled with it to get it to where I liked it. Moved it around, added some (and admittedly some copy-pasting). What was there was absolutely dynamite.

Most of what I did was trying to bring out emotion. The original is so upbeat, and I thought this arrangement would be the perfect chance to use the words to give it a different tone. Pitchbends, xSynth, dynamics...I abused it all. I tried to make her sound sorrowful. When I let Mom listen to it she said it sounded like she was in pain (in the deep way, not the ouch way), so mission accomplished I think!

For most of the song it's Miku's V4 Dark and V4 Soft bank xSynthed, but for the second to last chorus I switched it to V4 Dark x V3 Sweet. Hope it turned out well!
