Despite the sheer overwhelming amount of content in the electronic music world, Dublin-based producer Hedges - a.k.a. Chris Hayes - is determined to carve out a niche of originality through his productions, wandering between memorable rhythm workouts, brazen techno and more introverted, explorative pieces. 
Growing up, Chris' father's vast and eclectic music collection provided the soundtrack to his formative years, kindling in him an interest in becoming a musician. A flirtation with the guitar ended up in a handful of brief and wildly unsuccesful stints in bands. Those times spent fruitlessly collaborating with bandmates did see some success in that they solidified the desire to pursue a career in music - just alone. 
Fast forward a few years and the Hedges moniker is born. With a number of shows under his belt and a string of well-received digital releases, Hedges is only beginning to hit his stride.

This collaboration initially spawned from an assignment given to Operator Audio's founder Alan Byrne. The objective was to write, produce, record, mix and master a cover song in an alternative style to the original for which Alan decided to re-imagine the classic nursery rhyme Itsy Bitsy Spider as a classic Blues track.
