Quick bit from me: A few months ago I was asked to be a part of the "New Republic Mixtape" in honor of Imanos's signing with Republic records. I went through the republic roster trying to find the right fit for what I had envisioned I would submit for the mixtape, and when I came across the Florence acapella I was immediately brought back in time, to when I first hear the incredible original on the radio. Jimmy Eat World’s album, ‘Bleed American’ was basically the soundtrack to my high school career. When I was on the hockey teem, both “sweetness” and “bleed american” were on our  teams warm up playlist for before games.  Additionally I played lead guitar in my schools band that played “the middle” at our graduation. (pic included, LOL) Most importantly though, I absolutely loved the song and thought it would be cool to do a more chilled out, windows down version of the song as the weather finally starts to get warm again this month and next.
