Punx Soundcheck is the electronic music project integrated by John Taylor and Arif Salih London based music producers whom since the 90s have relesead several and notorious electronic music worldwide.
Marc Almond is the synth wave and synthetizer lead vocal of Soft Cell , British duo legend with the music producer Dave Ball whom re interpretate the classic song Tainted Love originally singed by Gloria Jones and composed by Ed Cobb from the Four Preps group in 1964.

With a very warm reception greeting the release of "Stray", (the first single from Novablood's forthcoming album "PrettyDiscoLights", out later in 2022) there follows a second helping, with a brace of exquisite remixes.

Spatial Awareness straps "Stray" to an uptempo four-to-the-floor electronic workout. Next up, Punx Soundcheck deliver an atmospheric electro version, loaded with analogue synth magic.
Completing the package is the Rezerection Dub from Novablood's Mark Zowie, heavying up "Stray" with old school breaks flavours.

A sublime slice of vocal electronica, "Stray" draws on the tradition of bands such as Depeche Mode, New Order, and Gus Gus. It will come as no surprise that Novablood have a built-in musical pedigree - renowned vocalist Dave Beattie was regular performer at King Tut's and T In The Park with Genic, and Mark Baker from the band has been producing electronic music for many years, working with Calvin Harris and playing Glastonbury, Ibiza Rocks, and the Isle Of Wight Festival (amongst many others) with his band Burn The Negative. "Punx In 3D" is the brand new album from London's electronic music stalwarts Punx Soundcheck, forthcoming on Icon Series on limited numbered vinyl, CD, and digital.

An homage to the early 2000s electro scene, where 70s punk, 80s synth pop and new wave, and 90s dance, all converged and were reinvented and reinvigorated for a new generation... in particular the Soho club The Ghetto where Nag Nag Nag and The Cock were pioneers of that scene.

The vinyl edition of “Punx In 3D” contains nine NEW tracks featuring guests Boy George, Princess Superstar, Natalie Monroe, Ascii.Disko, Princess Julia, Hard Ton, and Jo Mistinguett, with two bonus tracks on the CD version.

With this year’s re-release of their classic debut album “When Machines Ruled The World”, it would seem that Punx Soundcheck have come full circle into this new decade – a revisit of their past demonstrates how far Punx Soundtrack have travelled on their constant journey into the future, always pushing forward. Punx Soundcheck are a longstanding pillar of London’s Underground dance scene; as DJs and producers they have consistently been at the bleeding edge of electronic music, straddling genres, and constantly evolving their sound, utilising both a dazzling array of original vintage synths and cutting edge studio hardware.
Both legendary dance music producers in their own right, the duo of John Taylor and Roland Faber make a formidable team, weaving together their collected influences into their distinctive sound. Recently having put their own slant on dance classics “House Arrest” (with artwork for the single hand drawn by Boy George) and “Rock To The Beat”, and original numbers such as “Two Timed” show that Punx Soundcheck aren’t going to be slowing down anytime soon.
