A little about Karma:

A classically trained composer and electronic musician, KARMÅ's trademark sound selection makes an impact in the Los Angeles dance music scene. 

Clarissa, known professionally as KARMÅ, began composing for piano at a young age.  

A hopeful ballerina turned producer, songwriter, and electronic musician,
she was raised in a musical family and began performing at the age of 13.  

Raised in a musical family, she began performing at the age of 13, playing acoustic gigs around Southern California. After singing in various acts throughout her teen years, she went on to focus on original compositions and live electronic performance.  Graduating with a BA in Production and Sound Design, her live mixes are unhindered by typical genre.  

Her latest EP is self released, she has a show coming up with the great @burkomusic, and she has support from such artists as: Blackgummy, Ben Klock, Mija, Matrixxman, Fatima Haji & more.

"With a steady stream of beats that keep the feet moving, there's no doubt that Quite Right Records has its finger firmly on the pulse of Denver's house music scene. Its newest release, the 'Heart EP,' by Eric David fits the mold beautifully. 

The title track is a blend of retro sounds and house vibes paced by the heavy kick of the drum that feels like the constant pound of a heartbeat. This style is Eric David at his best and everything blends in beautifully, not favoring one element over another. The lullaby-esque vocals and the vintage synth-pop melody wind together nicely like something out of an 80's teen movie soundtrack. 

For the remix, Eric enlisted Will Vance. You can tell he felt the emotion that Eric was trying to convey. At once, you feel the warmth of the resonant bass and the whirling synth that carries you from the movie set to the dancefloor. He left the mark of their progressive styles all over the track but take nothing away from Eric's soulful conceptions.  

Both tracks on the EP blend together like a love story. It's something that everyone not only needs to hear but feel in their heart. "
