AKARI SYSTEM is On The Way To Ozora 2023. AKARI SYSTEM, also known as AKASYS, is a collaborative Techno project created by RINKADINK and AIRI. Based in Japan and producing together since 2020, RINKADINK is Werner van Jaarsveld, a producer and DJ born from South Africa. Having started DJing in his early teens, he moved to London in 2000. With his advanced technical skills and unique sound, he has released numerous tracks, performed as a headliner at many festivals and clubs and has been active in Psychedelic Trance for the past 20 years. AIRI is Felix Ando, born in Switzerland from a Swiss father and a Japanese mother. As a child he was educated as a violinist in Germany. He has been active as an electronic musician since 2004 and has played in many festivals with his enveloping sound that features a warm soundscape, thick bass, and smart composition. Please look forward to the PsyTech that they weave.

Sangoma presents KONEBU in this episode with a live set titled 'The Storyteller', which contains only unreleased tracks, except one! These are Konebu's newest upcoming tracks. Lucas Leone is the mind behind the Konebu project, a music producer for over 15 years. He was also part of the Tijah project with his partner Juliano until 2014. Konebu music is marked by a dancing sound and deep sound layers, moving between different lines of psychedelic music, Konebu follows no rules and there is no definite genre for his music.

"Feeling Awake" in this Parvati episode is GARNET, the result of the musical expression of Lunna Santos. Lunna began to venture into the world of electronic music in 2017 when she started attending rave parties and became interested in DJ sets at the time. In 2019, she began to look at new musical experiences and decided that it was time to take the next step and build her own sounds, so she began her studies in electronic music production, creating her Garnet project. Her sounds have strong characteristics that go through Forest and Dark but without attaching his creativity to a specific style, always providing a unique and psychedelic experience for those who listen. The live set contains tracks from Garnet's debult EP recently released at Parvati Records and her other songs.

Yabba Dabba is the project of Frederick Barwich and Jeremy Quessada, who both grew up on the tropical island of New Caledonia. Together they explored the psychedelic world, and these experiences helped to develop a strong connection. In 2015 the duo decided to start this project and soon, track after track, it became more and more fun so they kept going. Now, based in France, they shape their groovy deep and trippy signature sound.

Blending 140bpm beats with influences from psychedelic trance, progressive house, and dub techno, he crafts hypnotic rhythms and intelligent soundscapes.

Budapest-born Chriss Ronson began his DJ career in 1994 and quickly became a prominent figure in Hungary's electronic music scene. As a resident at iconic clubs like Club Korona and Pacha Hungary, he shared stages with legends like John Digweed and Sasha. His performances have taken him to global venues and festivals, including Tokyo, Love Parade in Berlin, Creamfields, and Balaton Sound. Founder of Foundation Records, Chriss has released acclaimed tracks played by top DJs worldwide and has created mix albums such as Renaissance Hungary. Known for his unique style and ability to craft unforgettable atmospheres, he remains a key player in the international electronic music scene.

Known as Mariusz Gil, he is a DJ and bass guitarist who recently joined the Krakow collective Egodrop. This is an exclusive set by FONETIK titled Japanese Whispers: "In recent years, I've been introduced to more and more so-called environmental music - a mixture of new age, minimalism and ambient that has been influencing Japanese culture since the 1980s. I selected a number of them, adding koto, techno and IDM from Japanese artists." FONETIK is a DJ and record collector from Budapest with a strong focus on organic sounds. His collection spans a broad range, from jazz to ambient—always with a human touch. He began DJing and collecting records around 2000. From 2014, he held a weekly residency at Instant/Fogas with the International Love Affair crew; prior to that, he was a regular contributor to the Hungarian club and festival circuit with the Ghetto Bazaar DJ crew and global bass blog. In contrast to the club circuit, these days he is more interested in telling a story through his mixes.

Active in Germany and India’s underground scene, he’s performed hybrid sets across Europe, Australia, the USA, and Asia.  His releases on labels like Dark Face Recordings, AlpaKa Muzik, Trapez, Techgnosis, and many others showcase his deep love for minimal techno. Ash has earned recognition as MyFav India's 'Best Techno DJ' (2014), VH1 Sound Nation's 'Best Electronic DJ,' and 'Producer of the Year' at MyFav awards (2015 and 2016). His work has been featured in Mixmag, Rolling Stone, DJ Mag NL, Faze Mag, and Euphoric Mag.  Ash debuted at Netherland’s Awakenings in 2017 and returned the following year. In 2019, he performed at Esoteric Festival in Australia, kicking off a 6-show tour. He played on Turmbühne at Fusion Festival 2021 and debuted at Wurzel Festival, Germany.  In summer 2022, he performed at events like Hai In Den Mai Festival, Fusion Festival, Master of Puppets (Czech Republic), Château Perché (France), and many more.  In 2013, Ash launched Soupherb Records, now India’s top minimal techno label, with over 130 releases from global artists.

This SEQUOYA Live Set contains tracks from his recently released album "Penumbra" among a few others. SEQUOYA is the project of Yan Krassowski, born in 1979 in Darmstadt, Germany. His love and passion for electronic music began in the mid-'90s at the age of 15, when he discovered the local techno scene. Early influences included DJs like Sven Väth and DJ Dag, along with first experiences in techno clubs like the legendary Omen and Dorian Gray in Frankfurt. He started spinning techno tunes at small parties until the psytrance movement shifted his musical direction.  With a group of friends, the Gecko Crew, he organized several small parties in his hometown and began playing progressive/psytrance DJ sets under the alias Yan Gecko. After several years of national and some international gigs, he joined BMSS Records and released tracks on various compilations. Yan's favorite sound has always leaned toward deep and mystical. After life-changing experiences on the dancefloor at large festivals, he fell completely in love with forest psy and more nighttime-oriented music, and in 2012, the Sequoya project was born.

This is a showcase studio mix featuring selections from the latest IN'R'VOICE albums. Denny Kay has been one of the original pioneers of the Russian electronic underground since 1991. In 1995, he received an award from the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation in the category "For Innovative Music for Youth."  In 1996, he relocated to London, and by 1999, Denny released his first record on London’s legendary Return To The Source Records — Shakta and In'R'Voice – Present Moment (EP/Vinyl). His second release was the double album In'R'Voice – Resonance Metaphizix (Optica Records, 2002, UK, 2CD), mastered at the iconic Abbey Road Studios in London.  Since then, Denny has released a vast amount of music — over 500 tracks — under various aliases, often concealing his identity and constantly reinventing himself across nearly every genre of electronic music. Despite these transformations, In'R'VOICE has remained his main project, weathering the shifts of the underground scene and continuing to release fresh material. The project is currently a resident of Cosmicleaf Records and is also the creative force behind other ventures such as Karmahacker.

Raúl began producing Psychedelic Trance as PSYCHO ABSTRACT with many compilations and three albums in well-known labels as: Novatekk-Global Trance Network, Yellow Sunshine Explosion, Ovnimoon Records, Maharetta Rec, Flying Spores... And after some years, in
2004, Raul starts a new project focused in Ambient & Down Tempo music under the project's name: LAB'S CLOUD.

The first single "Esmeralda" appears in 2005 in the compilation Chillum 4 (Agitato Records) motivating great interest in many international labels. (All releases bellow).
The live performances is a very important item for Lab’s Cloud, for that reason, Raul makes real live, improvising with synths and adapting the sounds according to the answer of the audience. And also playing some percussions in live.
His style in words of the listeners is: a smooth organic ride, sweet, deep, riding, floating,
beautiful and delicious music oriented to chill outs, with space atmospheres, some chilling
vocals, some ethnic sounds,
and acoustic recordings (percussion, guitars..etc)
Since several years, Raúl is working as R+D engineer, developing professional audio
processors (EQ, Compressors-Limiters, crossover...) for VMB Española. Actually with his
experience as sound engineer is offering his mixing and mastering services (Abstract
Studios), who demand it.

In this next episode of Bom Shanka Music series you can listen to the freshest works that Dj Nigel is producing under the name Aardvarkk.

Aardvark is the solo psytrance project of Nigel Shiva valley, a medium-sized, burrowing nocturnal mammal with a long pig-like snout used to sniff out food. He roams over most of the southern two-thirds of the African continent, avoiding mainly rocky areas. A nocturnal feeder, he subsists on ants and termites, which he digs out of their hills using his sharp claws and powerful legs. In his spare time he writes groovy psychedelic tunes for the night time, and does all kinds of other cool shit, including this exclusive summer 2017 Radio Ozora mix, which contains music from his upcoming releases including his second solo ep which will be released later in the summer.

Kostas Daikos is the person behind the Greek project E-Mov.
His interest in electronic music production started during his student years which he spent mostly in the UK. With the experience he already had from many years of musical studies and as a performing guitar player in various bands, he started composing various styles from lounge to drum’n’bass, over ambient to psychedelic. In 2003 E-Mov was formed, aiming mostly in creating a blend of psychedelic and progressive music, largely influenced by ethnic and tribal elements. Guitars, male and female vocals and percussions were ingeniously incorporated. Since 2013 E-Mov joined Belgian label Dacru Records.

Dacru Records is a Belgian psytrance label. The label boosts a strong selection of artists, from major names with a 20 year career under the belt to younger promising talents. The rosters includes names like U-Recken, Talamasca, DigiCult, Spirit Architect, Tropical Bleyage, Bitkit, E-Mov, Electric Universe, Aquila, Overdrive, A-Tech, Transient Disorder and more. The aim is to release timeless music with a strong emphasis on the psychedelic and melodic.
Besides being a record label Dacru has also been making a name as event promoter with over 80 events since 2001, that’s a whole of a lot of experience that goes into organizing quality productions. The events have taken place all over Belgium, from The Netherlands to Germany and even in exotic places as Thailand and include big and small indoor events, open air festivals, bus trips, 11 day pop up clubs and more. Some of the party lines include Organic Dreams, Tribal Roots, After Sunrise and Nova’s Incident open air.

Elowinz was created by Diogo Gouvea and Tomas Vezzali in 2012
From 2015 onwards Diogo handles the project alone.

His music roots are in Hard Core and Punk bands where he played and performed in the undergound scene of Sao Paulo.

Since 2005 producing psychedelic music on different projects and in 2012 the Elowinz Live Act became the focus of his productions.The detailed percussion work together with arrangements of different synthesis are gently guiding the dancers into trance.

His first EP, Sananga was released in October 2016, followed in 2019 by his second Granjurema.

Yoshua E.m was born from one of the minds behind the project called Black Dreamz.
Chihuahuan artist from Darkpsy, Experimental
began producing music by playing with different sounds and environments to find the psychedelic sound.
His first release came out in 2008 and from that moment he decided not to stop, he began producing under the name Yoshua E.m.
Its development has been constant without losing roots, experimenting with different things and interests over time, which has given it a very personal sound.
