This show sold out in record timing and blk. had felt it was only right to dedicate his track “Telegraphed” from the EP to the incredible venue and their will be some amazing scenes to come when he drops it there next weekend ⚡️

A vibrant and energetic character who shows these qualities down to the core of his music within his sets. Gavin McClelland better known as Camela from The Town (Dundalk, Ireland) has been a familiar face within the Irish underground since the inception of Absolute Deep. Camela started his journey within the AD Collective crafting his sound and fast paced style from the highly energetic AD Events & Festivals which has been a fan favorite for the club goers in the North East region. 

After gaining some local rep. Camela went on to push his energy & sound to other Independent Festivals and Events  within the Irish scene such Reboot Events - which is Irelands leading underground collective hosting a wide variety of unique indoor and outdoor events with a goal to push the DJs in the community while still providing some of the top tier Artists where Camela gained his musically influence from. 

This opened up slots at the well known Fuinneamh Festival along with a prime closing set on Mass Festivals second stage. Which was said to a stand out set by all in attendance. 

Previously supporting artists such as Mella Dee, FJAAK, Paul Woolford, Ejeca, Leon Vynehall, Low Steppa, Hannah Wants and (Legend) Mauro Picotto. You start to sense the direction in which Camela’s infusion of hard hitting groovy house & techno will bring you throughout the night! 

After gaining some strides in the Irish underground scene. Camela assuredly made his International debut traveling to San Antonios infamous EDEN Ibiza to mark off one on the bucket list gigs after falling in love with the White Isle as a raver in previous years. 

This paved the way for a slot in Newcastles Cosmic Ballroom where he joined his companies who he played along side in Eden Ibiza.

Since the pandemic Camela performed a live stream guest mix in Stockholm, Sweden while there on an extended work trip.  

With restrictions finally coming to an end in Ireland and the event gates opening again. Camela is ready to take to the decks and showcase his high energy goodness in which he’s best known for.

Delighted to be premiering one of the tracks from Choki Biki's forthcoming release: Coakley Collabs Vol.1! A new collaboration EP curated by DJ and Producer Josh Coakley; a Dublin based DJ & Producer. 

Coakley Collabs Vol.1 consists of six Techno orientated collaborations between Josh Coakley and other Irish talent including; blk., Sharpson, jxck, KIRK, Karl Seery and Black Traffic. Each track varies between a blend of Acid, Electro, Trance and Breakbeat, under the umbrella of Coakley’s signature Techno sound.

Coakley Collabs Vol.1 comes out on Choki Biki Records on the 22nd of April. It will be available as 12” vinyl also on all major digital streaming platforms courtesy of Lobster Theremin.

Next up on our selecta series Dublin based hardhouse dj Leah Doyle aka LE4H 

Her style and influence come from growing up listening to latter 90’s early 00’s booming Hardhouse Trance and Rave music and she is currently under the mentorship of @Pierce.Rooney. One of Irelands very own Hardhouse legends, attending his electronic music school @RMSDublin 🎶

This mix is nothing out of the ordinary for LE4H as she takes us on a journey through chunky funky grooves into rolling basslines, stabs & hoovers and building intensity throughout to a ruthless and rolling crescendo. This mix is seamlessly blended and sure to get everyone on the dancefloor moving using her unique style and mixing techniques 🔄

You can expect to see more projects from LE4H as she has been asked to provide guestmixes both at home and internationally and is booked to play with the hoovalicious crew in Belfast at the end of this month and is definitely one to keep your eyes on 👀

Ethan Veseli is a 20 year old dj/producer from Ireland who moved his proper first steps into the techno scene in 2021.

Here we premiere his new track “Renegade Master”. It is a rework of the famous old school track Renegade Master by Wild Child. It has been reworked into having heavy acid leads and hypnotic drums all at 155 bpm. This track is 1 of 4 of Ethan’s new “Rework Series Ep” dropping on 23rd May on all platforms!
