Red FM Kerala began a unique campaign ‘Water Bell’, to execute a special interval at schools to make children aware of the importance of drinking enough water and stay healthy in life. This campaign started on January 16th, 2019 in the morning primetime show Morning No.1 with RJ Soumya. Children are not consuming enough water, instead opting for sugar-sweetened beverages (sodas, sports and energy drinks, milks, coffees, and fruit-flavoured drinks with added sugars), 100% fruit juice, and other beverages. Drinking sufficient amounts of water can lead to improved weight status, reduced dental caries, and studies have demonstrated that drinking water can improve students’ readiness to learn by increasing their level of cognitive functioning. Because children spend most of their day at school and in child care, ensuring that safe, potable drinking water is available in these settings is a fundamental public health measure. The Water Bell will ring twice a day in the morning and evening by alerting the children so that the teachers specifically can give prior attention.
The execution
Realising the important of children to drink water, Red FM initiated the special campaign to alert children in schools to drink water in regular intervals. We started a promo to announce Water bell and District collector officially inaugurated this campaign in the show morning no.1 . Our focus was to extent this idea in all Kerala level. The Water Bell will ring twice a day in the morning and evening. we challenged the schools to start the campaign in their schools and to begin a special interval called ‘Water Bell’ in the schools every day at a fixed time in order to avoid the health issues among children from not drinking water.

Red FM Snehamazha(Rain of love) campaign was initiated during the devastating monsoon floods in Kerala this year (Aug 2018) . This campaign was to help the people in flood affected area, to rescue them and provide them with necessary survival ,also to give them the dikes of courage to hold them back and to restart a fearless life .

SUCCESSFUL USE OF CSR ACTIVITY - DON'T TOUCH ME
We need to create opportunities to talk to our children about what a good touch is and what is not. Children must know that no one is ever allowed to touch their private parts, and that it is important to keep these areas covered and safe in public spaces (which includes school too). It is also important to teach children about respect for ‘body space’.
Being a medium who always stood with the social commitments,  Red FM took that step to educate among children the importance of knowing once body and conducted several sessions to motivate and encourage the children to boldly open up to their parents and teachers if something bad happens to them.
And we named the campaign “Don’t Touch Me “ 
This campaign mainly focused to educate children about child abuse and make them aware the importance of their body and safe guarding them from any kind of violence’s against them thus helping them to build a happy and healthy childhood.
