Reload Specialists 2.0 is an accumulation of work from artists close to home and fresh new debutants to the label, who have all earned the right to be classed as masters of their craft. It couldn’t be considered a true Reloaded Sounds compilation without the absolute stalwarts of the label including 8Bar, Demloxx, Jamzigg, SDLR & Shinobi Yurei. These boys are the embodiment of Reloaded Sounds, passionate musical genius in every single track they bring to the table and they have bought their A game yet again for this

We’ve also bought back familiar faces adding to what is already a stacked line up with Hier, Qwirk & Sempra, who’s previous releases have turned heads across dancefloors around the globe and added their own flavour to our ever growing catalogue

Last but not least, we welcome new names to the roster Compound 10, Darker, Korostyle x Bookz, Mezza, Polar & Weapons Grade. This lot have absolutely crushed 2024 with their releases and we’re stoked to be able to add each and every one of their amazing tracks to this compilation

Making his second appearance on the label, we’ve got a serious 160 Grime hybrid by Slinki entitled Baddin Up’. The intro en-captures everything you’d want in a build up to a drop, with stretched breaks style drums, a consistent synth and an almost fake drop that makes you wait that extra 8 bars for the punchy, high adrenaline drop. The drop also features a really well thought vocal sample and a squared off synth patch to deliver that gritty in your face hit that’s sure to get the dance floors moving wreckless

For a tune that literally screams at you heavyweight champion, Bare Knuckle fits the bill perfectly. With that first bell ringing you know you’re in for a knockout tune followed with resonating bass that slowly builds up drawing you in, sounding like a rail gun starting up and ready to do absolute damage. The first bass in the drop starts you off like many classic FWD tunes from back in the day when we were trying to define the 140 sound, with a touch of modern Grime-esque flow. This song switches up into some out-of-this world sounding layers that make you feel like you’ve been abducted. Reloaded Sounds flexing their varied taste with this new one from Leeds based producer Slimy Ape. This 140 heater starts off with some spooky ethereal pads sounding like something straight out of a sci-fi film, hinting at what's to come when the harsh wobbly bassline stabs into the tune like a well executed blade. The rolling hats fill the intro, as well as a nice dubby vocal to emphasise the tune is going to be a banger. What follows is absolute mayhem as the wobbly bassline from the intro creates a harsh soundscape sure to rock sound systems and get feet moving!

We’re gassed to welcome back Reznik to the label! This time round he’s bringing another absolute heavy hitter with Moths and this one is certainly not to be slept on. Straight from the off this track comes at you with booming drums and an eerie almost crackling synth to really capture that feeling of being surrounded in the shadows. As the track drops, we hear the ever present Reznik sound come in, with low octave bass groans and a nice surprising switch up with a surprisingly contrasting synth to match. There won’t be any butterflies in your stomach listening to this, it’s a straight up gut buster!
