The fabulous virtuoso has been making the rounds and is a well known dj in the Dutch rave scene. We asked him a few questions about love, emotions, his sound and this podcast. He can't imagine a day without music and he sometimes wonders: how gloomy would this world be without it? Music is everyone's healer, it tells stories and evokes emotions but also helps you work through them. Music has the power to bring us all a little closer to each other in a shared realm of consciousness and love.

With this podcast Spikey Lee wants to dare you to look forward to the next shared experience, the next outpouring of love! His sound can be described as unexpected, groovy and fun. Mixing hard house with hard techno, booty techno and hard groove into one energetic mix perfectly suited to get down and dirty during this year's Pride!

Spikey Lee is an Amsterdam based Dutch queer artist, making a name for himself in the underground queer techno scene. His fun and groovy style of techno makes for some serious sweaty dancefloor vibes and his at times unexpected track selection keeps his audiences guessing. He strongly believes in making the scene a better and safer place for people and wants everyone involved to feel free and express themselves. Although being excluded himself for years he is well aware of his privileges and now uses his position to make the scene more diverse and inclusive.

Not gonna lie and say I was nervous for this set. Playing after 3 phenomenal sets by BUNSEN https://soundcloud.com/bunsenhh, BASHKKA https://soundcloud.com/bashkka and LOLSNAKE https://soundcloud.com/lolsnake made me shake a little. It`s been a while that I played in Amsterdam and somehow the pressure felt high! However, once I started, all the pressure faded away, replaced by joy and love. The energy in the room was insane! this performance is definitely on my list of all-time favorites.

My 8 hour ride during PRXMTY x Mannequin Records at RSO Berlin.

It was an unforgettable, intense journey, and I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to take over the Robus floor for such a long stretch. This allowed me to dive deep into different sounds and energies, taking both myself and the dancefloor on a journey. From intense highs, to floating lows that let the heartbeat settle—this experience was a true exploration of sound and connection!
