Rodion and Fabrizio Mammarella are back with another precious collaboration EP since “Appennini” released in 2012 but never forgotten in the fame.
They have been like brothers for many years, and after many
collaborations, these two producers are well attuned to each other in their musical soul. Rodion and Fabrizio are both very sophisticated producers and known for their dramatic melodies, mixed with synthesized funk and disco, which turns it into emotional freaky electronic music.
All tracks are recorded in Mexico City, bringing in Mexican artist Mijo as a featuring on the track ‘’Cerro Gordo’’. Moreover, italo-belgian duo Front De Cadeaux join with a remix that grabs elements from both the original tracks, reworked in one timeless piece of music.

The prolific Karolina Bnv returns to Wrong Era with 'Yet To Come' an industrial-infused, masterful exploration deeper into her ever unfolding sound. The sophisticated follow-up to 'Lessons On Good Behaviour' further enrichens our experience of her world. Opening with 'Unforgivable Decisions, ' an aptly named track that holds its own amongst the industrial greats. Shimmering mechanisms and pulsating arps intertwine, building to harmonic swells and a ghostly vocal from the captivating tones of Karina Jilaz. 'Germany Calling' opens Karolina's new beat intrigue with focused arps circling beneath a commanding vocal loop chanting the track's title. Soft acid lines flutter across the mix, perfectly sitting on either side of the punctual snare.

'Context Abuse' bursts open the second half of the EP with defined bass and the distinct clattering of rimshots. A powerful homage to the sound of Belgium with refreshing flair. Karolina Bnv's sophisticated palette is in full force, with her unmistakably ear-pricking melodics and vocal lines. 'Yet to Come' closes with '1988' an infectious Acid House anthem that weaves between New-Beat and Detroit House. Señor Chugger, a prolific Bristol-based producer and remixer, makes his debut on Wrong Era with an EP filled with his unique blend of euphoric synth lines and sophisticated, arcane themes. His music immerses listeners in a synth-ridden realm, offering a collection of instant classics. The EP, 'Sunset On The A38' , also includes remixes from Wrong Era Label heads Sesto Senso and fellow label affiliate Radondo.

Señor Chugger sets the tone with '75 To Seafront ', a track that kicks the release into high gear. The tight, weighty drums and metallic pads create a powerful backdrop, while the descending bass-arp adds a visceral element. '75 To Seafront' seamlessly combines Chugger's monstrous bass tones and fluttering emotional melodies, creating a journey of euphoria with each rhythmic combination.

'Party In A Field In Cornwall' flirts with flashes of early UK house and Señor Chuggers special blend of Italo Disco. A creamy synth line, singing over a rasping, defined bass riff, unfolds into the mix. Still in keeping with the solidity of the intro track, percussion is robust and melodics are carefully detailed. The midway point of the EP is marked with the endlessly emotive and sophisticated 'Festival Skyline'. Painting an artful sonic depiction of its title' Festival Skyline' breathes a modern breath onto the golden era of new wave with choral harmonies that bring a tear to the eye and a bassline that anchors these emotions.

Stepping into the synthwave 'From The Harbour' weaves into flange-soaked electro. A swirling synth hook dances over a pulsating bass arp. Deliciously tuned vocoder lines swim through the crisp instrumentation with punctual vocal stabs. Choral pads join the medley preempting sliced vocal chops that put his elegant sound design on full display. These vocals whip across the stereo field, concluding the track's excitement.

'Sunset On The A38' closes with the fittingly named Devon Expressway. An anthemic pad-driven atmospheric piece with dimly lit twilight imagery. A tweeting synthline clambers over the augmented low-end hinting at the central theme to come. Haunting choral synths chant and swathes of pads sweep through the arrangement. A CMI cries out, and an enigmatic melody pricks the ears. Señor Chugger combines his innate gift of pushing genre boundaries, painting sonic scenes with effortless charm.

Along with these 5 shimmering tracks, label heads Sesto Senso and Wrong Era's Radondo join the release with remixes of '75 To Seafront' and 'Festival Skyline'. The illustrious collaboration of Fabrizio Mammarella and Franz Scala brings their signature metallic arps and earth-shattering drums to the remix. Respectfully lifting key elements from the original and injecting them with their infectiously energetic flair, a peak-time dancefloor gem is born. Radondo gives 'Festival Skyline' a stripped-back rework, letting the choral harmonies of the original shine forth. His signature percussive approach tows the line for an infectious bassline to dance below the arps of Señor Chugger.

We are pleased to welcome Lerosa to the Slow Motion family. The Dublin based Italian has released eclectic productions on labels such as Ostgut Ton, Uzuri, Millions Of Moments and Vakum Records which encompass all shades of italo, electro and raw, unhinged dance music.

For 'Il Nostro Tempo', his debut release on Slow Motion, Lerosa has crafted four tracks of wistful, propulsive dance music. The trance inducing chug of 'Il Nostro Tempo' and the bittersweet synths of 'La Monarca' take up side-a, a pair of contemporary club cuts oozing with emotional melodies and stripped back rhythms.

On side-b the the skittish rhythms and wobbly arpeggiator of 'Ninfa' take you through to the early hours. The eight chapter of the infamous Slow Motion Compilation series, “Italian Dance Wave Disco Otto”, has quite some hidden gems to be discovered. Beginning with a track from Marcello Giordani DJ (half of the duo Marvin & Guy), that expresses a perfect Italian melancholic sunset (as the title also states), energetic, strong, but always poetic. Always following that “beachy” vibes we find The Caribbean House, serving a track that could last a century, and we would never mind. Electro hints mixing with deep and balearic vibes: ears glued to the headphones. Moreover, we have again Slow Motion queen, System Olympia with a track that could make even nuns sweat on the dance floor: beats and bass to die for. To close this chapter, you can pamper your ears with a angry balearic track from Gallo, not suited for the more weak hearts, that’s for sure.

System Olympia’s love for all things high end erotic blends with South London MC P Nut’s sassiness in her brand new single Falling In Love. The next 12 incher on Wrong Era is made by Marching Machines, a duo made of two Belgian powerhouses: Dimitri Andreas and Spacid. Their love for electronic machine manipulation and their musical history that spans over 2 decades, built an excellent foundation for this brand new project. “Lonesome” is a slow burning dark electro track with howling and gloomy synths that flow into acidic tendencies. “Desolat” continues on the emotional path of the previous track, embracing solitude on a broken rhythm, ending up in arpeggiating classic and cosmic italo track. In succession of that, there’s “Driven” which moves up to dancefloor dynamics by using harder and raw sounds, combined with an analogue pulsewave sound generator and building into a release of energy with wavy synths and smashing snares. The final track is a remix of “Lonesome” by one of Wrong Era’s label bosses Fabrizio Mamarella. While the original idea is still intact, the remix is a definite bigger and faster version, implying a stark contrast that still remains powerful, perfectly made for the dancefloor.
