Die Kleinstadt-Atzen

Der typische Kleinstadt Atze unternimmt liebend gerne etwas mit seinen Freunden. Die Gruppengröße spielt dabei keine Rolle. Den einen Tag treibt man zu zweit sein Unwesen, den anderen ist mit man knapp einem Dutzend Dudes unterwegs. Je nach Lust und Wetter geht es Mal in den Stadtpark, an einen See oder einfach an einen der heimischen Secret Hotspots. Ein Kleinstadt Atze ernährt sich tendenziell bewusst und betätigt sich sportlich. Je nach Ambition und Disziplin Mal mehr, mal weniger offensichtlich. Trotz des Fitness gerechten Lifestyles geht es bei den Kleinstadt Atzen am Wochenende heiß her. Da wird gerne einmal das eine oder andere Sixpack vernichtet und der Rauch einer Sportzigarette in die nächtliche Stadtluft entlassen. Ein Kleinstadt Atze liebt Musik. Für die gemütlichen Settings gibt es Hip Hop und für die ausgedehnten Partynächte vorzüglich elektronische und treibende Musik. Kleinstadt Atzen tragen in sich das Potential zum philosophieren, denken und dichten. Je nach Aktivitätslevel gibts Mal das eine, dann wieder vermehrt das andere. Der typische Kleinstadt Atze trägt sein Herz am rechten Fleck und ist immer bereit einen guten Witz zu reißen oder zu hören. Dieser „Menschentyp“ ist überaus loyal und man kann sich wahrlich auf ihn verlassen. Wir alle tragen die Veranlagung in uns, ein Kleinstadt Atze zu sein.

Dieser Podcast entstammt der Feder von Solatic. Bei diesem Gast handelt es sich um einen Artists aus der Hauptstadt, welcher für sein Leben gern musiziert. Im Laufe seiner musikalischen Karriere erlernte Solatic eine Vielzahl von Instrumenten und erprobte sein Können im Rahmen von verschiedenen Bandprojekten. Seit 2018 liegt sein Fokus voll und ganz im elektronischen Musikbereich. Dabei kombiniert er die Einzigartigkeit der menschlichen Stimme mit seinem Sammelsurium aus Instrumenten, um so melodisch-tiefgründige Musik zu produzieren. Seine Werke sind auf Labeln wie Serafin Audio Imprint, Metanoia und Amselcom zu hören.

Wir haben dem jungen, charmanten und aufstrebendem Berliner Produzenten dazu noch 3 Fragen gestellt:

-> Zu welcher Tageszeit und wo machst du am liebsten Musik?

Ich produziere voll gerne morgens direkt nach dem Frühstück, mit frischem Kopf und ausgeruht. Durch Arbeit und Uni kann ich das aber leider nur am Wochenende so machen. Ich hab ein kleines Heimstudio in meinem Schlafzimmer, wo ich mich am wohlsten fühle (auch wenn man es kaum Studio nennen kann, haha).

-> Wo ist dein Lieblingsort in Berlin?

Definitiv mein Dach. Ich habe kurz nach meinem Einzug das Haus erkundet und bemerkt, dass man dort hoch kann. Seitdem bin ich mehrmals die Woche oben und es ist ein ganz besonderer und magischer Ort für mich geworden. Ich habe hier mittlerweile schon viele Sonnenauf- und -untergänge und schöne Momente mit Freunden erlebt und fühle dafür sehr viel Dankbarkeit.

-> Worauf freust du dich dieses Jahr am allermeisten?

Da gibt es einige Dinge, aber ganz weit oben auf der Liste steht auf jeden Fall die Fusion. Ich war 2019 das erste Mal dort und war vollkommen geflasht. Habe für 2020 wieder ein Ticket bekommen, doch dann kam leider zwei mal das C-Wort dazwischen. Dafür ist die Vorfreude nun nach drei Jahren Warten aber umso größer.

Growing up in a small town near Berlin, Solatic always knew that he wanted to make music. He played several instruments in various band projects, but when he moved to Berlin, he fell in love with the electronic music scene and its warm, welcoming vibe. Starting his electronic solo project in 2018, Solatic found ways to express himself using his voice and instruments to create deep and melodic tracks. With releases on labels like Serafin Audio Imprint, Metanoia and Amselcom he found himself a home in the Downtempo music community, but continues to explore the boundaries of the genre.

After witnessing a glorious sunset on the western edge of the forest, Hekske (the little witch) and Falke (the 10 year-old witch apprentice) hurried to the eastern edge of the darkening forest (followed by a parliament of owls), just in time to observe a spellbinding spectacle.  While the planet Mars was already shining brightly over the south-eastern sky, the girls held their breath while the full moon rose majestically over the horizon, making the autumn forest shine in a soft glow.  After singing a few sweet songs dedicated to the moon, the vivacious witches decided to call it a night and returned to their soft bed of moss while thinking back to this beautiful sunny day in which they enjoyed the vivid autumn colors of the leaves all day long.
Meanwhile the temperature plunged rapidly, which brought Hekske and Falke in the mood to cuddle up together under their warm blanket of moss and hay, keeping each other cosy and warm.  The girls snuggled deep under their blanket, and they felt their heartbeats slowing down until they pounded synchronously at exactly the same pace, while their breathing became deeper and more relaxed.  They soon drifted into a blissful sleep.  Then a gentle wind blew some fallen leaves on the blanket of the witches.  Throughout the night, more and more leaves piled up on top of the sleeping beauties.  By an invisible yet irresistible force, all the leaves got pulled to the beating heart of the forest.
When the girls woke up next morning, they realized that they were underneath a huge heap of colorful leaves, 8 feet high.  They also found out that hundreds of ladybugs and cross spiders had snuggled deep into the pile of leaves too, looking for a safe place to hibernate.  The girls enjoyed the pleasant company of all their little friends and were not in a hurry to sneak out of the heap (which they finally did without disrupting all these sweet animals).  After getting out, it appeared that dozens of little spiders had found a comfortable place in Hekske’s brown and Falke’s blond hair.  The hair of a witch is of an incredible softness, but the girls made it clear that their long hair is not a suitable place for hibernation, so they gently shrugged off all the spiders and put them on the side of the pile of leaves, so that they could find a cosy place to spend the winter.
Meanwhile a family of weaver birds was already busy stitching together a new blanket of moss, hay and down feathers, quite a bit thicker than their old summer blanket. Now that the witches’ old bed had been transformed into an insect hotel, it was time to move to a new winter bed of moss…

'Two Suns' is a heartfelt melodic techno track - a love song infused with honest and personal lyrics and a balance of emotion and energy. It first started out as an acoustic track on guitar and reflects Solatic's joy of finding true happiness with someone special: two sunny personalities that shine brighter together. With its blend of warm harmonies and a darker rhythmic drive, the electronic version marks a deeper exploration of Solatic's own style, balancing raw emotion with vibrant energy.

When I made 'Two Suns', I had two different ideas for the direction I wanted to go in. I chose a Melodic Techno vibe for the track, but I still had the urge to explore more of a Deep House style as well. That's why I decided to release an EP with different versions of 'Two Suns'.

Today I proudly present the Alternate Version of the track - which is a bit slower, warmer and brighter than the original.

Next up on EIN2 comes Berlin based Solatic. The upcoming talent presents us an EP full of warm pads and melodic soundscapes. "Aurora" has a relaxed feeling and a positive and dreamy arpeggiator sound. "Setting Sail" is more groovy and comes with percussive elements and a catchy main lead. "Insomnia" has a some distorted synth stabs and a fresh vocal.

Solatic, also known as Luca, grew up in a small town near Berlin. From an early age, he felt a strong connection to music and to the sun – a symbol of warmth and brightness that matched his energy. The name Solatic is a twist on Lunatic, replacing luna (moon) with sol (sun) to reflect that light-filled part of himself.

Music has been a constant in Luca’s life, but just listening was never enough: he wanted to create. After moving to Berlin in 2014 and experimenting with a few teenage garage bands, he found new inspiration in the city’s colorful club culture. The openness, diversity, and emotional depth of the scene gave him the space to explore his own voice – both literally and artistically.

In 2018, he started his electronic music project Solatic, blending vocals and instruments into melodic, dreamy tracks that reflect his wide emotional range. His music moves between playfulness and introspection, high energy and gentle calm – always inviting listeners to feel something real.

Today, Luca is part of the Amselcom team and helps run the label, continuing to build community and support other artists while growing his own unique sound.
