A brand new release from soul singer Miriam Mercedes and myself. This is rare stuff, something you’re not very likely to hear very often. A genuine Norwegian contribution to the funk genre. A forgotten gem by the British techno/soul duo Total Contrast. Released in 1985 this floor banger reached no. 1 on the US dance chart. Kept the melodic parts and the cool 80's synths and gave it a new punchier beat, a funky bass line and some new pads. Enjoy!

A tribute to the king of pop. A lot of work went into this one, especially trying to find the right balance between creativity and restraint. We're talking about the king after all. So what do I call this? Disco swing with a bounce to it (as always). Hope you like.

Rock With You (Soulboss 90's Discobounce) - Michael Jackson

A latin flavoured take on one of the tightest productions from the Thriller album. Written by James Ingram and Quincy Jones and released in 83', the song charted at nr 10 on the Billboard Hot 100. I tried to give it a smooth lounge feel while at the same time keep it as organic as possible. Hope you like...

I thought it was time for a new Jazzbounce, since the last one was so wildly successful. I Always wanted to take on Janet, one of my biggest 90's idols, and I love this track. If you've listened to the original you've probably noticed that the whole song is essentially a sample of "The Glow Of Love" by Change. So naturally, I decided to go a different route. I changed the groove entirely, funke'd it up (as always) and infused some jazz elements. Hope you like! Leave a comment if you do.
