Formed just over two years ago, The History Of Apple Pie are centered around the songwriting partnership of Stephanie Min (Vocals) and Jerome Watson (Guitar) together with Kelly Owens (Bass), James Thomas (Drums) and Aslam Ghauri (Guitar). They’re currently in the studio putting the finishing touches to their eagerly awaited second album which is due for release next year.
 
The London five – piece, who spent a successful Summer playing festivals both here and across Europe, will set off to the States for the first time next month to play the CMJ Festival in New York between 15-19 October.

‘Feel Something’, the follow up to last year’s ‘Out Of View’ debut, features ten brand new tracks and was recorded over the last few months at Sublime Studios in London. Like it’s predecessor, the album was again produced and engineered by the band’s Jerome Watson with additional engineering by Joshua Third of The Horrors and Charles Reeves.

Formed three years ago, The History Of Apple Pie line up is centered around the songwriting partnership of Stephanie Min (Vocals) and Jerome Watson (Guitar) together with James Thomas (Drums), Aslam Ghauri (Guitar) and new recruit to the band Joanna Curwood (bass).

The band, who played last year’s CMJ Festival in New York, are set to announce UK and European Tours to coincide with the album release, in the very near future.

"The History Of Apple Pie are all systems go at the moment. Having released their debut album 'Out Of View' earlier this year, they're now set to unleash another single taken from it this May.

Alongside that rather exciting news, there's a little something more. The London five-piece have also scheduled two London shows; one of which sees them open up live proceedings for the mighty Phoenix, when they make their return to the capital later this month.

They'll be performing with Phoenix at Shepherds Bush Empire, before headlining White Heat the following evening:

The band will be previewing their two newly announced dates with two Record Store Day releases too: a 12" repressing of their split single with Gross Magic, Echo Lake and Novella, as well as split 7" featuring 'Glitch' and 'Dromes' by Young Husband.

London based five piece, The History Of Apple Pie are set to release a new single digitally on Marshall Teller Records on the 14 January, 2013.

‘See You’ is available to download and is lifted from the bands eagerly awaited debut long player ‘Out Of View’, which is released on 28 January, 2013 (UK) / 29 January, 2013 (US).

The album, recorded in London over the last few months, was self-produced by guitarist Jerome Watson, mixed by Charles ‘Chicky’ Reeves and engineered by Joshua Third of The Horrors.

A truly great and exciting live band, to coincide the release of ‘See You’, The History Of Apple Pie line up of Steph Min (Vocals/Guitar), Jerome Watson (Guitar), James Thomas (Drums), Aslam Ghauri (Guitar) and Kelly Owens (Bass) will set off on their first UK tour for over a year. The dates kick off in York on 31 January and finish up with a London show at The Old Blue Last on 19 February. 

Prior to the tour, the band will play a special in-store show at Rough Trade East in London on the day of the album release on Monday, 28 January 2013.
