Seapoint is one of those producers who play in a separate league. With a lush, melodic and evocative sound, halfway between landscape bass and deeper house, this Mexican based in Barcelona, via Montreal, is a superclass artist. His great productions for labels like B.YRSLF Division or Infinite Machine and his inspired remixes of people like Fobator or Druid Cloak, make clear that Seapoint is a special, superb producer. Following his acclaimed remix of Fisky’s “Sperry”, he comes back to Tracy Recordings with an impressive Ep under his arm, with two original hits in the making, "Installation" and "Wave Sequence”, that dive in his housier side, alongside two remixes by Toboggan, who makes an exquisite exercise in melodic abstraction with “Wave Sequence” and Fisky who returns the favour by crafting a fantastic revision of “Installation” in that bass / house  style so characteristic of the Moscow boy genius.

When three like David Kano, Ginebra and Kosmos share some studio time, the result can only be a track as big as “Fortasec”, the first release by two of the Tracy owners in ages and the beginning of a collaboration that will make . “Fortasec” is one of those tracks you love in a home listening but turns into a monster when you play it through a loud club sound system. The formula is simple and effective: solid house beats, deep bass, hypnotic synth and small surprises that traps the listener, including a killer drum roll to die for. But despite this apparent simplicity, "Fortasec" has something special that makes it stand and seduces unconditionally, one of those magical things that turn a track into something powerful. As if that were not enough the original "Fortasec" comes with three huge remixes by three excellent producers Bobmo, who injects some darkness and turns it into an acid monster, Shelby Grey makes it even darker, taking no prisoners and masterfully dropping some evil energy into it and Josh Mace who applies his distinctive personal touch to transform it into something magical.

No doubt he is one of Barcelona’s hottest properties, Nitsa Club resident Dj, producer extraordinaire and one of the key artists on Holographic People label. We are so proud to incorporate Tsar Poloz to the Tracy Recordings roster by releasing this stylish, ultra slick two tracker. The super talented producer / musician from Lodz, Poland, a skillful and multifaceted artist that, apart from making techno jams under his own name, has different projects like Deuce and  the guitar band Psychocukier, whose basslines inspired the foundation of this Ep’s two tracks, delivers “That’s My Job Ep”. It contains “Arkanoid Eyes” and  the homonymous track,  two inventive deep tech bombs, so original and fresh on the technical side yet solid enough to rock any dance floor. Their deep basslines, syncopated beats, sparse production and hypnotic feeling make them two real underground hits in the making.

Tracy Recordings is the discographic adventure of  Kosmos, one of the top dj's in the Spanish electronic scene, also responsible for Palace Recordings, and one of the pioneers in Barcelona’s clubland. Next to him, Ginebra, co-director of Palace Recordings, dj, producer and a true nightfile personality and Funkmasta aka Strong Language pro musician Dj and producer of the highest level, conform a dream team of intrepid activists with a misión to refresh the Spanish club scene.

With their first release, the Tracy Recordings team, have already proved that they shoot to kill. "Music For Bitches" was a compilation that worked as a label presentation, showing the world their dangerous weaponry of fresh and young talent and a compelling and irresistible sound. Household names like theAmplid, Sidechains, Bitcode, Meneo, Supercola, alongside foreign artists such as Monster P, Dj Beware or Kidz On Blue demonstrated that it was posible to release quality and fresh new music out of Barcelona. 

The evolution of Tracy has been unstoppable and release after release they’ve been positioning themselves in a prominent place inside Europe’s new electronic scene, that received them with open arms and a big smile. Now Tracy is not anymore “that label from Barcelona” and has slowly became a brand that means quality music and fresh sounds. Also Tracy have a residency at the respected Nitsa Club, their head honchos promote and dj at some of the hottest club nights in Barcelona and the Tracy sound is boeing requested by more and more clubs around Europe.
