With our first release of 2015, Unearthed Records returns to the trance scene with a bang. 

Label regular, Paul Miller, has delivered an uplifting and energetic trancer that is sure to turn some heads. Rolling bass lines and cutting acid stabs begin proceedings, leading in to a simple yet angelic piano melody. With a title like "Pluckyrocking", we can guess where the hook is in this track. The plucked riff will have your hands reaching high, alongside a genuinely beautiful pad.

2015 seems set to be full of surprises. The return of Unearthed Records has been received with overwhelming support from fans, and the next surprise is set to be a crowd pleaser too. 

C-Systems are no strangers to Unearthed, having multiple releases to their name with the label. “Escalation” is a driving, energetic trancer that doesn’t pull any punches. After an acid stab intro, the dominating bassline begins to take control. In true C-Systems style, this is closely followed by one of their melodic riffs, complete with vocal chops.

The break features an angelic piano melody with the main theme in its wake. Once the drop kicks in, we hear the piece really take off with multiple counter-melodies and variations. This is track is truly one to appreciate musically and yet works well in the club.

For our third release of the year, we welcome Nianaro back to the label with his driving, techy progressive track, Cyborgs. An energy-fuelled intro immediately grips the listener as a dominating saw bass takes centre-stage. Nianaro doesn’t disappoint with the melody here either, proving lots of variety all the way to the break and beyond...and what a break it is. 

A beautiful riff leads into the ghostly piano melody that is then wrenched away from us with the futuristic main lead. Once the main section drops, we are propelled back to the driving energy of the intro. Without a doubt, Cyborgs looks set to invade sets all over the globe, working as a techy club piece that delivers melodically too.

Dreamy makes a welcome appearance to Unearthed as remixer of this beautiful track from Christian Drost. Dreamy has upped the tempo and reworked the genre, with the result being a banging uplifter for the club. The intro builds gradually with a classic, trancey hook to get things started. When the track breaks, we hear elements of the original creep back, complete with an angelic piano riff. Dreamy really adds his own touch with a driving trance riff. Once the track drops, the piece develops but combining the piano and riff until the outro. This is a great remake of a track that we all know and love.

This next release on Unearthed Records is a big one. We proudly present Alex Heat and Victoria Ray in their collab, “Release Yourself”. This track is a highly energetic but yet sensitive progressive number. The intro builds nicely, bringing in the wonderfully techy bassline. We are teased with vocal chops from Victoria up until the verse kicks in. The simple but effective chords compliment the vocal elements perfectly.

The break takes things to another level; really showing off Victoria’s extensive vocal range and control. As the main theme begins to creep into the mix, the drop anticipation follows. We of course hear that incredible bassline return alongside Victoria’s amazing vocal work.

This track isn’t just one for the club. It is a piece to appreciate musically. This will be on repeat for the Trancefamily worldwide...without a doubt.

Unearthed Records is a trance driven record label based in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. Unearthed was born back of in early 2008 when owners Chris & Luke ended up discussing how alot of tracks which featured in Luke's DJ sets at the time were unsigned. Unearthed was then set out to helping new up and coming producers to the scene, helping deliver epic, melodic, driving trance music from the new producers.

Formally created in the summer of 2008 Unearthed already has a strong and diverse set of producers from all over the world, delivering quality releases on the label.
