Isabel Soto is a Montreal based DJ and Graphic Designer from Venezuela. She is the founder of tchn. Her passion for electronic music began in 2012 when she moved to Canada. She travelled by herself around Europe for two years, and fell even more in love with Techno there. Beginning of 2020 Isabel decided to take music to another level. She likes playing deep, dark, hypnotic and groovy sounds.

Through music she expresses herself on a higher level, each set is inspired by moods and emotions of a certain time and space.

SpaceShinobi (aka “Nataraja” meaning Lord of the Dance) has described his sound as “intergalactic techno’ with strong psychedelic, cosmic and tribal elements, often with a dramatic but radiant atmosphere, curiously inciting spiritual dance. At the core of his sound is intricately rhythmic, up tempo sonic jabs aimed at inducing dancefloor-focused euphoria along with altered states, via repetitive dance and rhythm, ultimately leading to a greater sense of connectedness to one’s self and others. 


With his latest mix, he has focused on the tribal elements, as he draws inspiration from his homeland Lagos, West Africa.

Venezuelan born, based in Buenos Aires. DJ - Live act Juan has been playing techno since the late 90s with a rich and rhythmic base with deep, hypnotic feel. He discovered electronic music in 1995 with Tricky's Maxinquaye, then “Homework” in 1997 from Daft Punk conquered his heart. 

Receiving support from artists such as Audio Injection, Ben Sims, Sandra Mosh, Chris Liebing, Juho Kusti, and a couple of vinyl releases on labels like Noir and Devotion records. Juan has also been remixed by artists like Tom Hades, Samuel L Session, Vegim, Joton, Casual Treatment, Xhei and Cardao to name a few. Juan has edited in labels like Alleanza, Gynoid, Noir, Syxt, Unknown Territory, [R]3volution, Dead Cert, Counter Pulse, Blackrod, Selected, Corpus Black, Devotion, Olympian to name a few. 
Today he runs his label Simplecoding recordings, along with the sublabel Indistinct Approach.

Immersive worlds elevated by pulsing scores have long gripped imaginations, and Chicago techno producer, DJ and video game developer Zvrra is an artist whose dynamic craft can be credited to the console. It was Rockstar’s street racing game Midnight Club II that kick-started Zvrra’s love of techno’s sundry rhythms as the soundtrack featured a strong supply of cuts from esteemed producers.

Diogo Lopes aka STNDRD (Montalegre, PT) started his techno journey in early 2018 with some releases as STNDRD and Simbiose (duo).
Defined by his hypnotic, dark and mental sound, his music has been released in labels such as Dynamic Reflection, Children of Tomorrow, Edit Select, Subsist, INNSIGNN, ATD, TMM, Ucker Records, R3volution, Warok, Selected Records or BAHN: Records, the label launched in 2020 hand by hand with BAHN crew, where he is an active member of the collective since 2019.

Diogo has shown his skills lately in the legendary clubs as Moog and Razzmatazz in Barcelona, where he is now based, but also performing abroad in Berlin, Oporto, Braga, Cluj and Sofia.

In 2007 Marie-Julie spent 52 weeks in Berlin. She returned home with a bag full of vinyl records. Her style is heavily inspired by the numerous visits to Berghain and Hardwax that year. After playing at the legendary Fuse club in Brussels and De School in Amsterdam, she gained a spot in the Belgian underground techno scene. In 2012 she formed together with other techno enthusiasts the techno collective TRP (www.instagram.com/trpgent), organizing several in- and outdoor parties in Ghent. She plays energetic and groovy techno, using only two turntables and a mixer.

WUWT: Rotate Podcast 13 - lola:de

On our next podcast we have Hektor Legion, a DJ and producer hailing from the streets of Alicante (Spain). Hektor has really been making a name for himself in the Spanish underground Techno scene.

Since he started producing, he has been able to release on major labels, such as Illegal Allien, getting co-signs through remixes by big names like Ricardo Garduno, Kessel or Mari Mattham. Rightly so, since Hektor has been producing for the past 14 years and has become a very technical and specialised producer, introducing very interesting modular sounds and hardware elements, among other key differentiating factors. His influences go way beyond electronic music, having an interest in other genres like Hip-Hop and Rock, he has created a distinctive sound that makes his productions and sets one-of-a-kind rich musical experiences.

Hektor also runs two labels, namely "Metro Black Series" and "Gordo Trax", two labels that belong to Metro Dance Club (Alicante) and Gordo Club (Valencia), respectively. As of today, Hektor is establishing himself in the Spanish underground electronic music scene and has had some fire releases on labels, such as Diffuse Reality, Sleaze Records, Gynoid LTD, UTCH Records, Subsist Records and Children of Tomorrow.

Sam is an ambient & techno artist from southern Chile who recently moved to the UK searching for new horizons in his musical journey. His sound is characterized for being hypnotic, deep & electric, always looking for new concepts to evolve into an intense balance as much in his productions as his live gigs. In 6 years of consistent live dj and music production career Sam has a 5 year residency at La Vieja Escuela Club, 3 argentinian tours, 3 LP, 12 EP, 14 VA collabs, 3 singles, several gigs in the top clubs in Chile, a recently gig at Under Club’s 10 year anniversary in may 2023 and Wrong London in October 2023. In 2019 founded his own event planner “Black Spot” in Pucón. In 2023, with more than 50 events planned, the project got into the chilean capital Santiago as well. With Sam hosting some of the most recognized south american djs like Bruno Ledesma, Cia Rebeck, Farceb, Forest On Stasys, Kid Riot, Mariano DC, Pulso & Zemog, Black Spot has become a must-go for serious techno lovers in Chile. In 2021 Sam founded his own label named Dosis Records, having notable hypnotic techno artists like Bruno Ledesma, Caue, CTAFAD, Dorian Gray, Esteban Miranda, Farceb, Joaquin Ruiz, Kontinum, Petit Astronaute & Zemog in more than 17 releases. As a proud parent and resident of NARR Radio and monthly queer night Love Muscle, Kessie’s techno tends towards the looping and the cerebral: a marriage of the hypnotic and the driving very few can effectively deliver. 

Being hard of hearing, Kessie’s relationship with audio is an especially physical, vibrational one, and her selections reflects this. Blistering kicks and sonic bleeps are integral building blocks, as are the intricate, sleazy mixes equally audible when she does bend the tempo and showcases her ear for bass, jungle, EBM, post punk, grunge, ambient.

Milkē is a Venezuelan DJ, fuelled by a deep love for techno.

Born and raised in Venezuela, his roots intertwined seamlessly with the diverse and eclectic music culture of Montreal. Navigating through the city's underground venues, he carved a niche for himself. Milkē has shared the stages with big names such as: Atroxx and Truncate. He also collaborates with local artists and collectives: forging connections within the industry, performing in intimate clubs, his goal is to transport the audience into a realm where rhythm transcended borders. 

Milkē spends a lot of time polishing his mixing techniques and selecting music. He has collaborated with local radios and podcasts such as: Shift Radio and Lafaceb and ElephantDjMix where he is the current booker. Dynamic yet hypnotic. Irreverent yet refined. Enigmatic nomad @EmmaYasumi has been collecting sounds from around the globe for as long as she can remember. A musical chameleon unbound by genre, she will juxtapose textures, melodies and moods to tell you a story... a story that is equally likely to be uplifting and ethereal as it is to be dark and furious. 

Born and based in London, raised in California and of Okinawan/Polish heritage, Emma cut her teeth as a DJ in the London afterhours circuit in 2015. A world traveller and 21st century bard, she lives out of a backpack and has shared music with dance floors in 13 countries and counting. As well as inside the booth, Emma's inimitable presence is felt strongly on the dance floor and behind the scenes, as she fulfils her passion of reuniting people with themselves through music.

Jow Moor is a DJ and Music Producer from Barcelona. His interest in electronic music began in childhood, but it was at the age of 18 that he entered the world of music fully and professionally.

The starting point was his participation in a Professional DJ course. It was from that moment that his career as an artist began in several important clubs in Barcelona and his projection in venues throughout the rest of the country.

At the same time that his career as a DJ was consolidated, he began to work in production, working with different styles but always in the field of electronic music.

In 2015 he began a new activity, this time as a teacher in a school in the city and as a head teacher of Deejay and Production classes. His youth combined with his experience make the connection with the students immediate and make him a professional of reference.
Currently, he combines classes with his sessions as a DJ in venues around the world.

WUWT invites Jow Moor @ Brixton Radio 11-11-24

TECHKƎN is a techno storyteller. His love for techno music started very early and after all those years of pure passion he decided to “marry” techno by increasing his technical abilities on turntables and CDJs. 

Electronic music is the only way he can meditate and satisfy his soul, going from dub to deep, minimal and hypnotic techno, with a groovy and melancholic touch. In his opinion there are no categories of electronic music, but only real emotions.

WUWT Resident Vivi @ Brixton Radio 6-1-25

Jamie de Rooy and Labyrinthine played in perfect synergy for a 2 hour back2back on our February show!

Labyrinthine is a Poland born and London based DJ/producer. He is also co-owner of Crescent London, a label that has become synonymous with deep and hypnotic techno. Firmly embedded in the London community and beyond, his DJ sets are a journey through exquisite soundscapes; a field of energy and drive mixing depth, darkness and light.

A known figure in London and a dynamic supporter of the UK scene, he has been regularly hosting events across the city over the years, as well as in Berlin and Manchester. His sound recently took him to the infamous About Blank in Berlin and Womb in Tokyo.

Jamie de Rooy was born near Manchester and has been London based for many years. He has played events as far-flung as Reykjavik, Iceland, equatorial Brazil and Tbilisi, Georgia. In 2012, in London, he began the weekly afterhours event series Wrong, always focusing on giving a platform to new talent. 

Jamie’s musical style ranges from heartbreaking, transcendent, ambient infused opening sets, through deep, into dark, hypnotic and strident raw techno. Always uncompromising, he steers well clear of gimmicks, allowing the music to speak for itself through careful track selection and intelligent transitions, both of which are designed to surprise, whilst building a set that works as a whole.
