Media Blackout resident and beach house king, Medsound returns with his latest smash ‘I Am Not Afraid’ featuring the deliciously voice of the Yota who makes her debut on the label. The Barcelona born enigmatic multitalented Medsound has been a regular in many top artist playlists, constantly showcasing his huge originality and versatility without ever disappointing. Swedish born and Paris based Yota needs no further introduction, world-famous for her beautiful voice and works with the who is who of the nu disco and house scene. She has graced releases from Lifelike, Ben Macklin, Tommy’86, Marc Lower, Zoo Brazil and many more.

French master of the cool beat ‚Douze’ is another making his debut on Media Blackout with his incredible rendition of „I Am Not Afraid“. Douze's affair with sound "through heart, hands and computer tools" has led to a raft of successful releases and remixes, and this is no exception. Part deep house, part driving disco, his „Gonna Hide Dub“ mix of ‘I Am Not Afraid’ is a ode to house music that creates a mood that’s perfect for any dance-floor.

The second remix comes from none other than London based sound maestro Le Flex, who to people in the known is a true master oft he craft. He drops a stunning remix of ‘I Am Not Afraid; a modern beach house jam with all the right elements. The bouncy bass and great synth arrangements create a sexy, provocative atmosphere while Yota's voice make words settle in truly magical fashion, creating a warm felt atmosphere that creates special memories every time you listen to it.

English wunderkind LeSonic, famed for his body moving beats and immense production skills, as well as work with Dirty Vegas, Vanilla Ace and Matvey Emerson delivers a remix that dives into more upbeat territory with lots of euphoric vibes. The luscious use of the vocals, bass stabs and driving drums make for an irresistible rhythm while the clever chords round off these fantastic interpretations.

It’s been a while since we’ve heard a track capture the endless summer vibe quite like this! Images of the sun kissed coast, Venice beach, Santa Monica pier and sunset drives down PCH run through our minds instantly when we hear “Out Of My Head” by Parisian producer Douze. And if you recognize those sultry vocals that’s because they come from Moodblanc’s Magnus who was featured on that killer Medsound track from two weeks ago.

The single is lifted from an EP by the same name that features an extended and radio edit version of the title track as well as another absolutely stellar original called “Zenith.” Everything about this track captures the essence and romance of those fleeting summer months. It’s a feeling that you can never really put into words, but always lingers long after the season ends much like this song that totally lives up to its lyrics.
