Stillness

This is a recording of my girlfriend singing and playing 'The Nearness of You' in the studio when we had some spare time. Its a gorgeous track written by Hoagy Carmichael and made famous by Lois Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald and Nora Jones.

I thought it was great to capture the live feel and dynamics of this track and I hope you agree that the emotion comes across well.

Hey All here is a little recording of 'Safe and Sound' (Taylor Swift, The Civil Wars, T Bone Burnett) that I did of https://soundcloud.com/auroradamico while I was over in Palermo (Sicily) back in October 2012. It's been on Auri's for a little while now but since they've won a Grammy I thought the time was right to share it on mine ;-)

It was a lovely little recording vibe which was very DIY and featured just an SM58!! It's amazing what you can achieve with limitations!
