@igorsantusa: 1. i am well aware that not everything has to be metal, not everything on my profile is metal anyway, so not sure why you're saying this, i only went for a prog style because i felt like it and was listening to similar stuff at the time 2. i thought this should be fairly obvious but covers don't have to be fitting for an ingame scenario, and i'm not sure how you think this sounds like a megalo at all 3. the bassline and the ending being bad? sure, i'll give you that one, this was pretty low effort to be fair. and as for delay on the piano i barely put any, you can't even hear it except in the transition into the main chorus

i didn't see very many covers of this song despite it being pretty cool, and i wasn't really confident in properly tackling any of the more popular songs (big shot, a cyber's world, attack of the killer queen, etc..) so i thought i'd try my hand at this.

back during my first playthrough of chapter 2 i immediately noticed the classical vibes from this song, so i was like, hey, i bet violin and piano instead of harpischord would work great with the composition. then i was like, oh going with prog drums, bass, and guitar + synths would be cool too, and that's how it ended up sounding like this. i didn't wanna go on full metal since i feel like that would be too intense. and yeah, i know i didn't include the wee woo woo thing but honestly it didn't seem too fitting.

Hi, for a lot of people that haven't been posted about my activity this is probably the first bit of UT/DR content I've made in a good year or so. I don't normally follow trends like these but inspiration struck me while I was playing chapter 2 again and I couldn't sleep until I finally finished this track. That being said, initially I wasn't sure how to approach this style of arrangement so I spent some time studying AU tracks, mostly works from the following talented individuals:

In the end, it was really fun adapting all the melodies to fit the tension of the fight in game. Hopefully I was able to accomplish that. Also neat little fact: I haven't downloaded Undertale or the soundtrack from Bandcamp on my new computer yet so the Power of Neo file I sampled here was from a Rivals of Aether workshop asset.

EDIT [11/29/2018]: Holy fuck. Yesterday it became my most played track, beating fucking Blocks of Russia which had like 7000 plays.
Now it actually reached 10K. And earlier this same day, it reached 600 likes. It just doesn't stop to amaze me how well a track I made - for a concept i just randomly came up with while watching a YouTube video that had absolutely nothing to do with DR - could do. I really appreciate each and every one of you who enjoyed this track. Thank you all so so much ^-^ I very much look forward to every single thing that'll add onto this.
