After an initial tease with the Cocoons E.P. earlier this year, we now move on to the main course as the self-titled debut album from Rich Hall, Paul Withey & Sarah Lazenby aka ‘Super FU ‘drops on Paper Wave and it truly is a thing of aural beauty.

10 tracks spanning an array of sounds & styles with more than a tip of the hat to what we’d deem to the be ‘The B Word” (Balearic incase you were thinking anything smutty) with touches of street soul, low slung house, psychedelic, outsider pop and lots more vibes that’s tough to put in a box.

Slick as heck production & instrumentation throughout and featuring vocals from both Paul & Sarah peppered across the tracks this really is music for hazy days & nights, boat parties, sunsets & driving in the convertible whilst on your way back from buying a new Don Johnson jacket & espadrilles.

For fans of Everything But The Girl, Sade, 90’s sounding Weather all productions with lashes of Richard X style…tuck in & jump on the Super FU freeway!

After returning from a trip to Ibiza the decision was made to embark on the torturous task of learning music production. Getting championed by Greg Wilson leading to the first release on the Chopshop label, things snowballed with tracks released on Midnight Riot, Hot Digits, Disco Dat, Spa in Disco, Sound Exhibitions, Get Down Edits, Masterworks, Hot Groovers, with support from Craig Charles, Dimitri From Paris and producing a side project with Rob Bairstow as Greyskooledits things are moving in the right direction.
